'First Time' brings the worldwide number one Robin Beck hit, first made famous in an 80s Coca Cola advert, bang up to date for the dancefloors in 2006 and features new vocals from Robin herself. Fizzing with energy and uplifting highs, 'First Time' will be rocking clubs in holiday destinations all over the world this summer.

The lowest re-issue to date for Michael Jackson this year.

The tune originally a #2 UK hit in 1992 but didn't reach top 40 until "The King Of Pop" did a series of major TV interviews including a live network sitdown interview with Oprah Winfrey at Neverland Ranch and took the song to #27 in 1993.

Yes, each week, they sell less and less. It's a flop. Guess Abba will not follow on now.

4th (or 5th if you count the re-issue of "Decent Days And NightS") top 40 hit to date for the Futureheads.

Still their only top ten hit to date is their remake of Kate Bush's "Hounds Of Love" which hit #8 in 2005.

Thats because he's now releasing his more minor hits :) I've never heard of any of MJ's re-releases in the last few weeks.

The nation voted for him in their millions to crown him winner of The X-Factor 2005, and his record-breaking debut single 'That's My Goal' stormed to the top of the charts giving him the Christmas No.1, where it stayed for four weeks. Following this phenomenal success, Shayne Ward releases his second single 'No Promises', an emotive ballad, featuring a rousing chorus that showcases Shayne's amazing vocal range to the full. 'No Promises' is taken from Shayne's forthcoming eponymous debut album, due out in mid April. - HMV

"Hounds Of Love" by Futureheads what kinda good :)

Prefer Kate's version

Pet Shop Boy single chart run 8-25-OUT :o

well of course, it like all these oldie acts only the fans will buy them and want crossover into the general consciousness

also they will have bought the album, which will drop next week also as its on special this week

Shayne Ward's had a good run so far ^_^ Certainly better than Steve Brookstein's (non-existent) second single anyway

This is at the moment Robbie Williams lowest charting hit in his decade-long solo career.

He has chart lower as a member of Take That but that was before the group became really popular in the UK.

how bizarre that anyone would want to mention Uptown Girls

Probaly because the film had Dakota Fanning in it.

I'm really hoping big things for Pink next week - I think she'd do it if it weren't for Keane <_< 'Who Knew' is gonna be one of my best songs of the year

And Gnarls really has been deleted then :o

Red Hot Chili Peppers return with 'Dani California', an exciting preview of the eclectic sounds of 'Stadium Arcadium', their eagerly anticipated double-CD album. Continuing the story of Dani California that was established on the band's prior albums 'By The Way' and 'Californication', as with the rest of the double-album set, 'Dani California' was produced by Rick Rubin (Beastie Boys, System Of A Down) in the same house in the Hollywood Hills that the band recorded 1991's landmark album 'BloodSugarSexMagik'. - HMV

track listing

1. Dani California
