May 13, 200817 yr I don't even like ths Rihanna song. Which is a shame because I usually lke her stuff. I don't think this deserves a higher peak than DSTM or SUAD They messed up on DSTM! They released it FAR too early! And people got bored of it by the time the physical came out! So Happy!! :D I think Rihanna will end up number 2 and Ting Tings will be number 1 because theyre out physically this week whereas Rihanna is released Next week! I cant wait this is my fave chart battle of the year so far! And probably my fave since Kate Nash/Rihanna/Timbaland in 2007! :D
May 13, 200817 yr Surely some of Violet Hill's downloads must be being discounted as Rihanna only overtook Coldplay yesterday lunchtime so Coldplay would have had a day and a half in front but are still way back! The popularity bar is not a reflection of the amount of downloads, it shows the popularity of a song. Rihanna climbed up the popularity bar fast and knocked coldplay off. Therefore its not really surprising she passed them in the chart. If she wasnt selling as many as coldplay, she wouldnt have overtaken.
