Missing from this, on dowloads alone: in the top 10, would be Rihanna and Coldplay. There are 9 download only tracks in the top 40, Duffy, Neyo, Sara Bareilles, Nelly, Royworld, Taio Cruz (I Can Be) should be 35, and Lil` Wanye should be 36.
May 13, 200817 yr Oooh I wish this was real coz at least Cassie would get a play on the Chart show so she could climb a bit more the week after! :( but i guess she is doing great with no promo at all not even video or airplay! Edited May 13, 200817 yr by Johnjo07
May 13, 200817 yr Well I hope Ting Tings stay there, its better when downloads and physicals are released in the same week, makes the chart more exciting and a bit fast moving, I really think its about time they released downloads and physicals in their first week, together. It might just improve the chart.

It might just improve the chart. Quite agree Mart!n. I would go one better, to make the charts more exciting...go back to the old release day (like the 50s, 60s, 70s, and early 80s by releasing singles (and downloads) on a Friday. This would mean the Chart on a Sunday would be fresh as a daisy, for there would not be hardly any clues, midweek! ;) Although it has to be said, during the 50s and 60s, depending on the music paper in question. Some did not include a Mon - Sat period. More Sat - Fri infact. But pretty fast moving in 3 of them, when the Beatles managed to smash in at number one, on only one day of sales (obviously not in Record Retailer, who were way behind with their charts anyway), with most releases between 1964 - 1965. Saying that though having a fresh no clues chart on a Sunday, would require a certain station, to do a half decent chart show! I can`t see pigs beginning to fly though! :D Which is a shame, because there is still a lot of great music around with even older artists getting in the charts, Neil Diamond et al. And for the younger members, if you know "I`m A Believer", by the Monkees, or "Red Red Wine by UB40, they have one thing in common...they were both written by Neil.
May 15, 200817 yr Which Fall Out Boy single is at 32? :o And :o at Scooter at 39. I guess this is The Question is... This must be because of the success of the album.
May 15, 200817 yr Author I'm glad Chanelle is flopping  I know. The physical side of it, is not doing that bad at HMV (currently at number 11). The video to that song plays on the mind of the lads! :teresa:
