Usher - Love In This Club has pretty much exactly the same tune as Ba Da Boem by P & J (apparently both songs are based on the same computer-generated jingle).

Miley Cyrus - See You Again sounds similar to the start of Sunglasses At Night by Corey Hart (covered by Tiga & Zyntherius in 2002).

and the music in Sunglasses At Night was a rip-off of Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This) by Eurythmics.

Rihanna is not a stranger to ripping off other songs.....She started by stealing "Unfaithful" from Rob Thomas' "Lonely No More"

However the kings of "tribute" are currently the Hoosiers:

Worried About Ray = Happy Together by the Turtles

Goodbye Mr A - Mr Blue Sky by ELO

Cops and Robbers = Love Cats by the Cure

Andy Abraham's Even If and Michael Jackson's Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough

I think it sounds more like "If Only I Could" by Sydney Youngblood.

Denial by the Sugababes sounds very like Tonight by Westlife.

Towards the end Taio Cruz goes all Lion King on us. Good ol' memories to the Disney glory days.

I also think Rihanna's 'Take A Bow' is like 'Irreplaceable Part II'

Coldplay and S4G - reminds me of every other bland piece of indie c**p.

Will.I.Am/Cheryl - The intro reminds me of 'Milkshake' with the verses I expect it to morph into 'Sexyback'.

On the Andy Abraham subject...It does indeed sound like "If Only I Could", and Sydney Youngblood with a bit of Rick Astley thrown in.

Rhianna 'Don't stop the music' - Michael Jackson's Wanna Be Starting Something

Akon 'Wanna be startin somethin 08 - Michael Jackson's Wanna Be Starting Something

Fall Out Boy 'Beat It' - Michael Jackson's 'Beat It'

Mary J Blige 'Just Fine' - Michael Jackson's 'Don't Stop Til You Get Enough'

Anything by Justin Timberlake - Anything by Michael Jackson or Prince

Anything By Ne-Yo - Anything by Michael Jackson or Prince

My mum thought it was like an Errol Brown song...

btw when you say Rick Astley - is it vocal stylings - do you mean that Andy Abraham also fancies himself as a doobie brother (another wannabe micheal mcdonnald)

Akon 'Wanna be startin somethin 08 - Michael Jackson's Wanna Be Starting Something

Fall Out Boy 'Beat It' - Michael Jackson's 'Beat It'

These are covers so obviously they would sound alike...

While "Worst Case Scenario" is slightly reminiscent of Katrina & The Waves - Walking On Sunshine.

Thats not my name - Ting Tings

Mickey - Toni Basil

Girlfriend - Avril Lavigne

Same Jeans - The View

Brimfull of Asha - Cornershop

I thought of another excellent one

Charlotte Nilsson - Take Me To Your Heaven (#20, 1999) and Wizzard - I Wish It Could Be Xmas Everyday (#4, 1973)

just try singing the Wizzard lyrics on top of this track...forget the Abba comparisons, its Wizzard who should sue here!

There are bits of "Elvis Aint Dead" that sound like "God Only Knows" by The Beach Boys , in fact quite a lot of it.

The beginning of the Ting Tings' "Shut Up and Let Me Go" is reminiscent of Franz Ferdinand's "Come On Home". Also every time I hear "No One" by Alicia Keys I want to start singing "Where Is The Love?" by the Black Eyed Peas.
Kylie's Wow and Prince's Kiss.
Denial by the Sugababes sounds very like Tonight by Westlife.

Oh my god- Ive never noticed that before but you're spot on! Sugababes just speeded it up lol...sneaky! :naughty:

I Can Be - Taio Cruz, and

No U Hang Up - Shayne Ward

Im just listening to Freemasons - Love On My Mind and it sounds a bit like Girls Aloud - Control The Knife
