I'm confused - she's not with SonyBMG anymore is she? She's not listed on their website, and her official website doesn't appear to be the usual SonyBMG website - and yet her My Space etc says Major Label. I think it's very unlikely Simon Cowell would have her on x factor unless she's with one of the SonyBMG labels.

I have na feeling it will flop, dont think its strong enough and probably wont get much promotion. Hope im wrong though.

Honestly, what a cringeworthy waste of talent. Maria actually has potentially but her management and/or label are just utterly clueless. Her image and her music is just not current enough to get her anywhere.

She had a lot of potential but I found her last album to be very boring. :(

The new single is very different but not really anything great imo which is a shame.

LOL, poor Maria. On a slightly more positive note, its grown quite a lot on me recently. Obviously a hideous choice for a single though.

It's not going to do a thing and neither will her album. After being away so long she needed something amazing to even stand a chance. No radio support at all, bland video, no promo appearances. Bet it doesn't even make top 200.

The song is nice, but it's not single material AT ALL - especially not for a comeback.

 

The video is c**p, but it's to be expected. She looks great, though.

Remember Maria was a favourite in that series to win and on the 4th live show she was bottom 2 with the Conway Sisters and Louis had to decide and he went for Maria and the crowd booed so its something about Louis making the wrong decisions for Me

That was awful. I remember being so shocked that night, i personally loved The Conways as they were my 2nd favourite of the series after Maria but even i could tell that it was possibly one of the worst decisions made on these types of shows ever.

It's such a massive coincidence the case of Maria & Laura.

 

Both favourites to win their respective seasons. & shockingly eliminated on the same round - The 5th Live show!!

It's so awful how these stupid decisions are being made. Such a shame that these truly talented artists are being thrown away.

I Love Maria's track ''Breaking Me Down''. In my opinion, i think it's fantastic!! One of my fave songs this year.

I think that lack of promotion is what let it down from doing well.
