June 2, 200817 yr What happened to Andy Abraham? He's gone back to being a binman. (And I love what Dustin the Turkey said about him - "He used to collect rubbish and now he sings it.")
June 2, 200817 yr Physicals only provide a tiny proportion though, and 'Singin in the Rain' has got off to a good start today, already at #1 on iTunes, so I reckon it could do. It only needs about one in every hundred people who voted for Sampson to download it to get to #1 I bet! That would be 130,000 sales :o . But illegal downloads would be incredibly high among the type of people who would buy it (it IS understated here) * There must now be no doubt that "Sweet About Me" is on its way to emulating "Rockstar's" epic run... I am being serious here! ;) No it won't, it doesn't have the novelty appeal that it has, but its a better song, which makes up for that, but it probably won't make top 3. its back because the candelight mix of Heaven is back in the iTunes top 100 thanks to its inclusion on a Ministry of Sound Chillout compilation + as Martin said, it was on American Idol too The candlelight mix is amazing, but it sounds like there is something missing from it.
June 3, 200817 yr But illegal downloads would be incredibly high among the type of people who would buy it (it IS understated here) Nonsense...people who watch Britain's Got Talent are not the same people who illegally download music. Quite the opposite.
June 3, 200817 yr That would be 130,000 sales :o . But illegal downloads would be incredibly high among the type of people who would buy it (it IS understated here) So, by this theory, how did Leon Jackson have the fourth-biggest selling single of 2007?
