Thank You, I know newspapers distort things but I don't think this newspaper (read by a large population of the West Midands) would make this all up if it wasn't true .

I believe that USA are crying out for a visit & I bet she will be over there during the 6 weeks holidays.

In response to your comment aimed at me, I assume you're aware that there are seperate charts for foreign artists [an unofficial sub-division of the official Korean Chart, tallied fortnightly]

 

At the moment I believe SNSD is #1 with their song "Kissing You" to promote the re-release of their debut album :D and Epik high are #1 with their comeback album "Pieces, Part One"

I'm not quite sure that I believe it, it was more proof that Paul might not just be talking out his arse and he is getting his info from somewhere...

 

I personally don't understand why she's famous at all, I don't even think she was any good and I find it incredibly creepy and disturbing when fully grown men are there watching a 6 year old girl praising how good she is. I also think it's incredibly wrong for her to have this kind of success at such a young age, it's depriving her of her childhood and I'm not bothered what people say about how much she's 'loving it', it WILL be ruining her, she's not growing up naturally, she's being forced. And it's completely wrong. If I had children no matter how 'talented' at something they might be I'd be completely against this kind of thing until they're grown up enough to understand the real world better.

You may not understand or appreciate this but Connie does something that is really great, and that is cheer people up and make them smile.It is a fact that she is loved by millions of people all over the world .She has a very mature voice for a 7 year old.Performing in front of any sized audience she has no problem in keeping in time, singing the right words and reaching the right notes of every song she sings.If you think there is something wrong with me taking an interest in someone my family absolutely adore then I think that that is disturbing.Only time will tell if her life is ruined by all this media attention.Maybe its a good thing that her profile in the UK is kept low key so that she can live as normal a life as possible whilst at home. Her parents have said in interviews that as long as she is still happy about doing all of this then they will support her all the way.

Oh sorry, I got some information wrong in my previous post. Girlband The Wonder Girls are #1 in both the album and singles chart.

I didn't know this.I guess the chart I posted is a few weeks old.Had she been number 1 but has now fallen?

I'm assuming you don't know any Korean :P but just look for "'08년 가요 음반판매량" and "'08년 POP 음반판매량" :D

It's your opinion of course but a lot of people (not on this website obviously) share mine.

Bare in mind she knows my 8 year old daughter so it is a natural thing to take an interest in what is going on.
