Posted June 3, 200817 yr Just saw an advert for this :o The "tagline" type thing was "Sunday is the new Friday" but do you really think it is? Of course I'm excited about it but I don't know if it will work as well on a Sunday :( What do you think? Still can't believe it's come back so fast though! And now Sunday evenings will be GREAT (BB followed by SNP) :cheer:
June 3, 200817 yr sounds very... recycled. tbh i always thought FNP was $h!t, i loved the first series when it was presented bu Jimmy Carr, but ever since it has been a nit c**p. and Alan Carr is just annoying.

June 3, 200817 yr I'm usually out on a Friday when it was on before, and I couldn't be bothered to watch the last part of it when I came in :lol: Don't know if I'll watch it on a Sunday though, I mean Sunday is a day of rest :lol: Not a day for Alan Carr :lol:
June 3, 200817 yr I'm not sure about this, fair enough for the one off specials, I think over Xmas one year there was an episode on a Sunday, could be very wrong but i loved the fact that FNP would be on after the BB eviction and Friday night always felt like the right slot, so I'm really unsure about this move, I think they may lose viewers rather than anything else
June 4, 200817 yr Well I think it's been moved to accomodate what's already showing on C4 on the Friday, as they can't really move what's already in the time slot where it used to be, because of shows already taking up that timeslot. The Sunday will be the make or break of the show imo. It could spur it to a new audience... but then again it might falter. It'll seem strange watching it on a Sunday anyway. :lol:

Can't stand him tbh.... -_- There's a hint of desperation in the move to Sunday I feel....

June 7, 200817 yr The best move ever. Take a look at whats on tv sunday nights - hardly anything. Im out always on a friday and so this is better for me.
June 7, 200817 yr Alan Carr said on Paul O'Grady yesterday that the move to Sunday is due to Big Brother. They had the choice of being on at 11:15pm on a Friday night or 10pm on a Sunday and Sunday seemed like the better choice. I tend to agree - after 11pm is a bit of a graveyard slot. I just prefer if when the show is on a Friday, it's like the beginning of the weekend for me, now it's the end of weekend. I can't believe some people prefer Jimmy Carr as the host, it was quite rubbish before Alan and Justin. Edited June 7, 200817 yr by Adi_Gallia
June 7, 200817 yr This is much more praticial for me- Friday nights I'm usually out and about; and I do f*** all Sundays and there is $h!t on the telly on Sundays so I'm looking forward to it. Confirmed guest host's so far are- Katie & Peter Andre [First show] Pamela Anderson Naomi Campbell Angus Deaton With rumours of Tara Reid and Billie Piper also doing a show.

The Sunday Night Project hosts may follow in the footsteps of comic Leigh Francis, who reached fourth place in the Christmas charts in 2003 with Bo Selecta single 'Proper Crimbo'. "Justin has got it into his head that he wants to do a Christmas single," Alan told The Sun. "But I hate singing. I can't sing. "I told him I don't want to go round the country singing at Christmas but he said, 'It's alright Alan, you can just stand at the back, I'll do all the singing.' I said, 'It's not the bloody Pet Shop Boys'. I guess I could sit at the back on the organ." He added: "I think we would at least get the sympathy vote." The Sunday Night Project launches tomorrow night at 10pm on Channel 4. Having heard Justin sing and with a celeb packed funny video, i would so buy this and hope its true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
