June 15, 200817 yr I thought it was ineligible? The album version which has been available since Thursday isn't!
June 15, 200817 yr Looks like Coldplay will be excluded from the chart forever more then?! Should be in next week?
June 16, 200817 yr Author Mint Royale only shifted 28k last week if it's sales continue to wane at it's current rate it'll only shift 17k this week. Rihanna shifted 21k but will surely suffer another sales drop and Ne-Yo sold 19k so if he has another sales increase like last week will be on 20-21k. Chris Brown stands a good chance 13k on downloads alone last week could he make up 8-9k with physicals and increased downloads this week? If the occ allows VLV then it sold 18k last week and is also in with a shot. It's looking like a very very low sales week for the No1 I can't see anyone shifting more than 21k. June 16, 200817 yr I reckon Chris Brown will stumble on the physicals side and only just about manage Top 5. Mint Royale have fallen quite a bit in sales so I think it will be a close call between it and Ne-Yo for this week, Rihanna will probably slip to #3.
June 16, 200817 yr If Mint Royale stay at #1, sales will be ultra low. I think Mint Royale's sales could decline another 40% this week, and 40% of 27 thousand is 10.8 i think. And 27-10.8 is 16.2k. Eeek! Last week, 1-6 sold more than that. I think a increase in sales is possible from Gabriella Cilmi, Sara Bareilles and Ne Yo from that group of 6, so 2 out of those 3 will probably beat Mint Royale this week if Mint Royale only gets 16.2k. I think the Ting Tings and Rihanna could also beat Mint Royale. Chris Brown is extremely likely to get more than 16.2k aswell. The only other outsider is Jordin Sparks, who could have a massive rise if her sales triple, which is possible. So i think the lowest position Mint Royale can get is #8, although it could be more realistically #4 or possibly still #1, although on my theory it will sell 16.2k which is the lowest #1 seller ever, (did Orson get about 17k?) :o :(

June 16, 200817 yr I thought that has been "purposely disqualified" by EMI? I think that story was made up. EMI couldn't do this, if a song is chart eligible then it will chart regardless of the wishes of the record company, and why wouldn't they want it to chart? It will be even more promo for the album. The real reason for the exclusion is the fact that the NCQ version was still available at the beginning of the week, therefore the whole weeks sales were made NCQ.
June 16, 200817 yr I dont get it!!! Y Viva la vida cant be in the chart?! it is number 1 on itunes as a single. it gets plays in the radio... so y not?! y the hell after 8 years they can have a number 1 suingle and you (the chart) wont let this happen? for what reason? someone can truly tell me? June 16, 200817 yr Should be in this week how could you know this? I dont think it will be this week either... or never.
June 17, 200817 yr Of course I want Viva La Vida to be Coldplay's first #1 single, but I'm terrified that the Jonas Brothers will get to #1. Isn't SOS out on physical this week? And it's rising too quickly on the iTunes chart. I still haven't heard the song as Radio 1 doesn't seem to play it often, which is fine with me.
