:lol: We have a lot in common musically, Aly, but we are poles apart when it comes to Coldplay!

 

What annoys you so much about them? Do you actually like any of their songs?

They have some good songs; but some very overrated songs such as 'Fix You'.

 

My favourite song by them is properly 'The Scientist'.

 

But that said; Overall they are actually a good band. I'm not too keen on the songs I've heard from the latest album though.

Although I'm a fan there have been three or four tracks on each album that have bored me and I can see where their critics come from some of the time. But after getting the new album it's a complete change of opinion, I've not listened much yet but musically it seems so much better than their first three. It's far more challenging and a great piece of work. I'm really glad they've made an album I think I'm going to love, rather than just like quite a bit! :D

I am not a huge fan of Fix You either - I find it a bit pretentious! The Scientist is good - its quite a simple tune I find.

I love Coldplay, but I can't stand the Coldplay forum mods, my god those two guys are aweful :drama:

From VLV my favs are Cemeteries of London, Lost! and Death and all his friends.
