Posted June 19, 200817 yr We have entered into an affiliate scheme with emusic, play.com and HMV. The list will change and be enhanced over time B) If you click through on the banners and buy something or subscribe (emusic) BuzzJack.com gets a %. Great all round and definately worth its own topic :D. As we grow ads are a part of the landscape but I want the ads to be relevant and interesting to the community. Phil
June 20, 200817 yr Hope the CTR% rates work out for them :cheer: EDIT: just noticed for me, that the HMV (70% off sale) ad doesn't well seem to be hyperlinked anywhere.
July 14, 200817 yr New seatwave ads are done nicely. Clear, not spammy and best of all just to viewers and not members. The 'advertise on buzzjack' is okay, but consider removing the italics font. Lastly lo-fi is another area for opportunity, especially for search engines.
July 15, 200817 yr Well, anything that gets rid of those Gay Partnership ads gets my vote  What's your problem with the gay partnership? :o
July 15, 200817 yr What's your problem with the gay partnership? :o There so annoying! And that's coming from a gayer.
July 15, 200817 yr I keep getting ad's for Bloc Party - Mercury :dancing: It says it's available to buy now, even though it's not

Never 100% sure about Lo-Fi, I know it serves a purpose but not regularly used and prefer to remove completely.
July 15, 200817 yr thanks, updated. Never 100% sure about Lo-Fi, I know it serves a purpose but not regularly used and prefer to remove completely. Bit unwise to remove Lo-Fi. I know a few members that use that version especially on Mobiles
July 15, 200817 yr Author yep wont exclude just dont like there being two versions of each page for search engines (this page and the lo-fi page).
July 15, 200817 yr yep wont exclude just dont like there being two versions of each page for search engines (this page and the lo-fi page). For Google it's actually helpful to have two versions. As it almost doubled the sites content without having any duplication. Many visitors also use the lo-fi despite the (incorrect) display on the last click reporting.
