Although normally the type of thing I'd detest I think this is fantastic, a real summer anthem and uses two samples to great effect! Releasedy physicaly on 7/7 and already number one on iTunes videos which is probably a good sign. Surprised there's not a thread already or maybe I've just not looked properly...

I really like this, its already #1 in Austria and will probably be #1 next week in Germany and Switzerland! Should think itll be this years summer hit.

 

I do wonder how itll do here though, #1 on itunes video chart and getting good airplay on radio 2, hopefully top 5 though!

I love this song and the video too, it's a real feel good summer song.

It's about time Kid Rock got some recognition in the Uk!

I think it is a completely awful use of a sample personally! I hate songs that revolve around samples and the fact that he sings about how much he likes the song he's sampling only makes it worse! :lol:

I've gottas admit I can't understand its popularity either too, but I love the track. I think it uses the sample really well, and it's just a good summer song really. American Badass beats All Summer Long to a pulp though.

I like it cause it's one of them chilled, lazy summer afternoon records. Always appeals to me. :D

The sample of Sweet Home Alabama is nothing though. It's the far more prominant sample of the far greater Werewolves of London which gives the song a tune and makes it ok,
