June 22, 200818 yr Author And 2008 we have had 8 #1's if Coldplay take it today, in the first 6 months, let's hope the final half of the year will be more #1's I like how few number 1s there have been actually. Also, have you noticed that only Basshunter, Madonna and Rihanna have climbed to the top spot this year (and since Sugababes I think last year) as every other #1 has gone straight in at the top :o Is this right, or have I missed any one out?

June 22, 200818 yr Also, have you noticed that only Basshunter, Madonna and Rihanna have climbed to the top spot this year (and since Sugababes I think last year) as every other #1 has gone straight in at the top :o Is this right, or have I missed any one out? You are right those are the only 3 artists that have climbed this year.
June 22, 200818 yr Author You are right those are the only 3 artists that have climbed this year. And before that at the end of 2007, Leon Jackson, Eva and Katie and Leona all entered at the top of the chart :o Entering at the top of the chart is back!
June 22, 200818 yr  Not a fan then? oh I love Scooter. They are always so creative, have the best melodies, great rapping skills and brilliant videos. What I love the most about them however is the the haunting Minnie-mouse-on-speed voice ;) Edited June 22, 200818 yr by NoiseAddict

June 22, 200818 yr Author 40 Weezer – Pork and Beans [D] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/1774496.JPG Chart Run: 40 [1 wk] Release date: 23-6-2008 Availability: pre order now Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: 1774361 Label: GEFFEN Weezer's 1994 debut yielded the band two big hit singles in "Buddy Holly" and "Undone - The Sweater Song," whose quirky appeal gave the initial impression that the group was some kind of novelty act. Despite the wiseacre veneer though, Weezer went on to successfully combine bracing, punk-poppy alternative rock with a deep sense of irony that often made it impossible to tell whether the band was rocking out or "rocking out." This conceptual tension endeared Weezer to indie aesthetes, while the band's charging riffs and pummeling rhythms endeared them to a larger audience. - HMV Video here: muP9eH2p2PI track listing 1. June 22, 200818 yr 1. Coldplay - Viva La Vida 2. Ne-Yo - Closer 3. Sara Barrailes - Love Song 4. Rhianna - Take A Bow 5. Chris Brown - Forever Coldplay make 10 too :yahoo:
June 22, 200818 yr Author I preferred the 90s classic Buddy Holly. It's doing well on downloads alone though.
June 22, 200818 yr 2007 01. (1) Rihanna - Umbrella Wow, a year already. That flew by! :o 2003 02. (-) Fast Food Rockers - Fast Food Song 04. (-) Delta Goodrem - Lost Without You 05. (-) Wayne Wonder - No Letting Go 06. (-) Jennifer Ellison - Baby I Don't Care 07. (-) Ashanti - Rock Wit U (Awww Baby) That was actually a pretty tough week so I'm glad Delta did well to get #4. She had a good number of Top 10's in the UK, it's such a shame she doesn't release here anymore. 1998 03. (-) Pras Michel Featuring ODB And Mya - Ghetto Supastar (That Is What You Are) 04. June 22, 200818 yr Author 39 (from 27) Lil Wayne - Lollipop [P] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/1771898.JPG Chart Run: 70-46-47-42-39-38-39-26-27-39 [10 wks] Release date: 2-6-2008 Availability: in stock Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: 1771898 Label: ISLAND Along with fellow Cash Money Click labelmate Juvenile, Lil Wayne is one of the most important MCs in the unfairly overlooked early 21st-century New Orleans rap scene. Blunt ghetto narratives about the hustler's life and woozy nearly psychedelic free associations fill Wayne's albums, but it's his allegiance to his home town that makes him a unique and forceful presence in hip-hop, and an important reminder that there is more to the Big Easy than Fats Domino and Dr. John. - HMV Video here: JIG1Vr0h_aE track listing 1. Lollipop [uK radio edit] 2. Lollipop 3. Milli [album version/edited] 4. Milli
