And, to clear this all up, you may reserve a limit of 16 artists, however, if none of the artists have been ruled out of contention for your country (or no obvious advances have been made, i.e. an announcement there will be voting or something like that) after a week, you will lose reservation rights on them all - this is to prevent people reserving loads of artists and only confirming at the last possible second, which in practice means those artists cannot be chosen. If someone has been reserved by someone else already, you may not add them to your National Final or confirm them as your entrant unless they are ruled out. I don't want any complaints about this being unfair etc. - just have some patience (or, if you're worried and are relying on getting an artist in someone else's NF - send them a PM asking if they think that they will actually be using the artist in question - if not, it sorts most of it out, if they are, you should probably start looking for someone else) as all issues will be resolved in the end!

 

And ridiculous reservations (i.e. Band Aid 20 etc.) will be sorted out on a case-by-case basis :P
