I think this Annie song is good, much better than 'I Know Ur Girlfriend Hates Me', which is pretty average imo.

I really like I Know Ur Girlfriend Hates Me, but it's not incredible...I am still eagerly anticipating her album though :wub:

hmm...not sure about Britney, I don't think you should ever discount her with any song, she has a massive amount of fans and a lot of casual voters will give her points, particularly as the track isn't a single

I don't see her not going top ten, but I do think she will receive a major part of the backlash against well-known artists in this contest...which normally wouldn't be so great, just that pretty much everyone seems to be choosing the big artists this time around.

I don't care about giving points to major artists, I just don't like giving points to well known songs

 

e.g. I'd give 12 points to Extraordinary Day by Delta Goodrem, should somebody send it, but I'd give considerably less points to Lost Without You as its an unimaginative choice...

 

anyway, if everyone's going for big artists, then some of them will have to do well by default!

I do get what you mean. But I am a HUGE Britney fan and I Run Away wont necessarily get Big points. I am voting for the song no matter how popular the artist is. But I guess I am only one of about 30 people :unsure:

The thing is though, Britney would likely still get points from you, yes? If say, 30 out of 40 countries all gave Britney points, with about 24 giving 1-7 and the rest giving 8-12, that would still give Britney quite an easy top 10 - artists like Britney get casual votes like you wouldn't believe ;)
