May I add the fact that it's FUNNY how no one complains about songs being added that have less 'hit potential' and will be 'flops' when The Saturdays gets added. :lol: As usual the playlist is made to suit all of the station's DIFFERENT audiences. Btw I found out why The Pigeon Dectectives are always added and then make their way up to the A-List despite being $h!te.. they are the favourite band of the person who is basically in charge the people who decides who gets onto the playlist :lol:

I don't mind the band, but they are on their way out, that is undeniable...

There was a long discussion over on chc about the ridiculous way the playlist works: i.e. one man dictates for a station which goes out to a huge audience. There are all sorts of random occurances that man (who's name escapes me) has come up with when it comes to the playlist. He won't for example, ever playlist New Young Pony Club because apparently they sound too similar to CSS. Who, it is of note, haven't even had their new single playlisted :S

It's a shame they're one of the biggest influences on what music the public hear because they have twits running it and even bigger twits playing the records. Burn Moyles I say.
