July 11, 200817 yr If it really is good as people are saying it is, then I really will have to see it! :o
July 15, 200816 yr Apparently it may even have a shot at a Best Picture Oscar nomination :o I don't know why, but I doubt the judging panel (which has a lot of actors) is going to vote for a film where only their voices are used. (Just a hunch, mind.)

July 26, 200816 yr Saw it this afternoon. One word - Absolutelybloodyfantasticandbrilliant! A truly fantastic film to watch with a message ... entertaining but not preachy and with touches of fantastic humour. And I didn't want to go and watch this - my 10 year old talked me into it! Norma
August 2, 200816 yr It has been quoted as a 'Masterpiece of Citizen Kane proportions'! From the trailers, it looks simply superb - a must see for me. my bro's kid is 7 and didnt like it - thought it was boring as not enough action or fart jokes...my dad was gonna come watch it with me on the 241 but after hearing his grandson's review not too intersted now and will perhaps watch the 1 star film on five us instead

It did say that kids under 10 would probably not appreciate it. There would have to be some sort of basic understanding of environmental issues (and obesity issues) before the humour that it contains to hit home. My sister and husband went to watch it a few nights ago (with no kids in tow) and they both loved it. Most people I've seen, who've enjoyed it, have been adult (having said that - my 10-year-old loved it). Incidentally my favourite bit in it was when Wall-E was showing Eva his 'treasures' - in particularly the bubble-wrap and the egg whisk! Norma
