Scrap the national final in my opinion and just go for The Saturdays, they would by far be your best choice and would definatly stand a chance of doing well

I think we need to establish when we can nominate songs for the next competition.

 

I was under the impression that songs could not be nominated until the next Provisional Confirmation Thread is opened?

 

If we are allowed to nominate now then I might as well take things to the silliest extreme:

Rosie Thomas has already been entered :P I wouldn't enter Rehab as LOADS of people here already know it (seeing as the album was by far one of the most popular on here last year), and I'd be VERY interested to see how Fort Minor would do - I was considering it for BJSC XI myself ^_^

That's what I'm thinking at the moment, I contemplated adding The pussycat Dolls - When I grow up (in my madness for want of a song to get in the top 10 :P ) but I realized It would probably be the most floptastic entry ever into the Buzzjack song contest.

Band Confirmed

 

In a press conference today the ASC announced that the story in yesterdays Ashton Sun was TRUE!

 

The Duo go by the name of Boo2, and is made up of sisters Amelle and Samiya Berrabah. The song they will perform is called 'Head Bash'.

 

Boo2 unfortunately no longer perform together due to Amelle being drafted into replace Mutya Buena in London trio the Sugababes.

 

Amelle had this to say: "I'm very excited at being given this opportunity. When Phil (Dictator of Ashton) said he'd like Boo2 to perform i almost fainted and got straight on the phone to Samiya. Ashton is like a second home to me and the girls (Band mates Keisha and Heidi) we love it here and recently bought a lovely house in the Forthern district of Morepeth Cove so we don't spend three months of the year in a hotel. To represent this fantastic country again is such an honour, we really couldn't compete for another country especially with the way we have treated here. It's not everyday a band is put on a selection committee for a prestigious competition like this one, but thats what you've done and i hope i can repay you by doing well in BJSC X."

 

The Sugababes are the most successful act in the AMC:Chart history with over 25 number 1 singles under their belt and 6 number 1 albums all of which have sold over 75Million copies in Ashton.
