Ok, so they're shooting up iTunes, but the popularity bars show they have alot of work to do to hit top 3 on iTunes, and this is also assuming that the physical does well..

Will they make it? And if so, how many do you reckon they'll need to sell?

I hope not. I reckon they'll sell hardly any physicals either. For them to be #1 they have to be number one on iTunes for the majority, if not all, of the week.
I am more hopefull about them getting number 1 as I thought it would only reach Top 30 but I think Top 5 maybe Top 3 (Depending on physical sales) is gonna be the best for them im afraid :( I want it to be number 1 though!
Are they really number 4 on itunes :o going to do well in that case i might as well give it a few more listens but right now i hate the song
I don't like this song. I think We Cry was quite good, so I don't understand why this new song is so popular :o

Agree whatever happens if i do start liking it i don't think its ever going to be good compared we cry :D

This could be the dark horse of the new releases this week which is a contender for the #1 spot only problem with it as Mark said, Physicals can be very low for it.

I love the track to be #1 instead of Dizzee Rascal, if only for a week.

might scrape a week at No.1, its up to top 3 on iTunes now...Katy Perry will see it off quickly if it does get there though...
I can see it being top 20 by sunday, (on the real chart), with the physical release it may go top 5 if they are really lucky along with the added downloads.
It will need to sell around 27- 30k to overtake Dizzee Rascal and Kid Rock and that’s not factoring in The Saturdays which I suppose theoretically could do over 30k next week. I don’t see the physical sales being too hot; although I would never have thought it would have sold so many downloads. Plus I seem to remember ‘We Cried’ reached its peak on iTunes quickly before beginning to wilt almost as fast. Clearly if it is No1 on iTunes tomorrow and holds that position all week then it stands a very good chance, just depends how long it takes to overtake Kid Rock and Dizzee.
No. i like the track but it will have to be number 1 on itunes from tomorrow onwards and also sell at least 10k physically, personally, it would be great to see this at number 1, but its going to get stuck behind the likes of kid rock and jordin sparks, preventing it from being top, but definetly top 10, top 5 with good physical sales

True just because a track is riding high on iTunes doesn't mean it'll do as well on the chart...

OneRepublic Stop & Stare #2 iTunes = #4

Coldplay Violet Hill #1 = #8

Coldplay #1 = #1 (but only 23k, lowest sales for a No1 since Jan 2007)

TBH we only follow really the iTunes chart but there lots of other download sites. It'll be interesting to compare from week to week the iTunes chart with the others (like 7Digital etc).

Sales must be well LOW over on 7 digital then  .

I hope not, it would be quite an awful #01. I can't even remember how it goes.

I think Dizzee or The Saturdays will be #01 next week anyway.

I find it hard to think a debut girl band to sell as much as 30k plus to reach #1 at this present sales climate of the year. I say at least Top 15 for the Saturdays
