It varies, depends what material is released in the week, its never fixed. At the moment the singles market is pretty dead. I actually think they have done really well. I dont get all this 'i hate the saturdays and they have flopped' talk. They've had a top 10 hit with their first single which soldb quite well for a number eight... At least let's give them a chance and if you really do hate them then surely you dont have to go on about it all the time. Rant over!!! Back to the chart and i can see Katy being number one for at least six weeks. Is she still getting a Sept 1st release??

But, tbh i'm pretty sure their next single won't do well, 'Up' is it??...and who the hell would honestly will fork out for their album?!?!...i doubt that many! Girls Aloud do it better and they only can normally sell like 400K an album, let alone a z-rate version of them! My prediction is they are headed for dropsville (especially after all that cash was blown on them)....i would say they will be lucky to still be around come Spring! August 8, 200817 yr HMV online have the release date of 29 Feb, which is a Friday :blink: I know its odd. Also on HMV, there is still talk of an out of stock import, costing £4.49. This version, was apparently released on 14th July! Did anyone actually manage to get a copy?! It was even on a pre-order. I saw no sign, of that at all!! :blink:
August 8, 200817 yr Author Woah @ Katy Perry! :o I reckon 47-48k in total for Katy Perry by the end of Saturday. Usually you add half of Fri Sales to get a roughly total sales for the week. 32 divide by 2 gives you 16, plus 32 = 48k
