I think Laura has got the X Faxtor, not her best audition though due to her illness, she has something, I can see the potential in her, and can improve with the right coaching, and I think Simon is getting the girls this year, with the right judge she could go all the way.

I've given up on all the acts ... even the best ones to me sound at best average and at worst wannabes. Its Simon that is the X-Factor for me now. I detest him but his put downs and one-liners are quite brilliant - especially when aimed at Louis 'that's like saying a banana tastes like a banana' and (of You'll Never Walk Alone) 'What did you expect? A hip-hop version?' He is still what makes this program worthwhile viewing. I'm still glad that I sacrificed the first half to watch the Celebrity Weakest Link instead. Dermot Murnahan was brilliant!

I think Alexandra was really good, but I don't really see her as a winner. I think, like Rachel, she could make the live shows but become this years Dionne/Alisha and be in the bottom two a lot.

Simon said he was hoping to cut down on the Sob stories this year as he wanted to really focus on the Real talent. (Regretting Leon much? :heehee:)

I am rooting for either Alexandre Burke or Rachel Adediji.

Both were excellent and miles above everyone else.
