August 7, 200816 yr Kinda old now :o I so want 'Freeze' to be released. I find it ridiculous that the song has been snubbed so far both here and in the US. Maybe they're just afraid it will be coupled as 'Say It Right' Part II but I think it has a far huger hit potential in the UK than a 'Tattoo' reissue. Yes, fully agreed. 'Freeze' is where it's at and is the smash hit of this album waiting to be unleashed. As good a song as 'Tattoo' is, re-releasing it is a stupid idea, it's been and gone and there are some real releaseworthy tracks on the album (especially 'Freeze').
August 7, 200816 yr Noooooooooooo! Bad idea, Tattoo is ok but so floppable. I've not got the album but judging from the reports there are better songs.
August 8, 200816 yr I can't see the re-release doing much better to be honest. Its a very bland song and totally unmemorable. I think she will remain a 1 hit wonder.
August 8, 200816 yr Well I've just heard it on Capital FM, so hopefully that's because of the re-release.
August 8, 200816 yr Not a good choice, it wont do that well i think. Freeze needs to be a single though and im holding out for Shy Boy aswell. Like Aaron, im annoyed since i've already charted it once and it got to number 1.
August 8, 200816 yr Heres what DS had to say about it ^_^ Jordin Sparks announces next UK single Friday, August 8 2008, 19:23 BST By Nick Levine, Music Editor We've all known for absolutely ages that 'No Air' by Jordin Sparks is one of the best singles of the year. Now, having spent the last month-and-a-half month in the top five, it's a proper smash too. All Jordin's got to do now is worry about her next single. Well, brace yourselves, because Jordin and her label have made up their minds. Instead of releasing 'One Step At A Time', her current single in the States, she's going to reissue 'Tattoo', the midtempo Stargate track that cracked the US top ten but stalled at #50 here in April. She's shooting a new video for the UK reissue too - a good move actually, seeing as the original wasn't exactly filled with excitement. Having given our chin a bit of a stroke on this one, we actually agree with Jordin's decision. As we've said before, nothing on her debut album really compares to 'No Air', but 'Tattoo' is certainly one of the stronger tracks and it deserved better than #50 first time around. With a new, improved video and a bit of help from radio, it could actually do alright for itself. Come to think of it, a shameless publicity stunt from Jordin wouldn't harm its chances either... we wonder how she'd feel about kissing Katy Perry?
August 10, 200816 yr As long as we get Freeze at some point. It would make a great winter single, then a double a-side of Shy Boy/One Step At A Time
August 10, 200816 yr I'm so upset. I don't think we'll get 'One Step At A Time'! If Tattoo performs well I think we will. One Step is doing great in the US despite some saying it was a bad choice and so if it proves to be a good single there, we'll get it.
August 10, 200816 yr yeah i know! but one step is very I don't now.. amercia-ish! but I love it though, so let's hope it get's released and i do think tattoo can do well! she just have to come to europa and do some promo I think!
August 10, 200816 yr One Step At A Time would be a complete flop here, its good but to 'boring' to appeal to most people, it would probably scrape the top 30. Releasing Tattoo again is a also a stupid move, the video will hardly be great. The only chance at cracking the top 10 here is with 'Freeze' and 'Shy Boy' or 'Young & In Love' could make the top 15.
August 11, 200816 yr I hope we don't... Why not? 'One Step At A Time' is one of the best on the album!
August 11, 200816 yr I think this is a great idea, the video let it down and she didn't promote and now she has a hit behind her, it should do well =] great song :P
August 11, 200816 yr Why not? 'One Step At A Time' is one of the best on the album! Because 'Freeze' must be released as soon as possible, they are missing a trick until they do.
August 11, 200816 yr I think this is a great idea, the video let it down and she didn't promote and now she has a hit behind her, it should do well =] great song :P It'll definatly do better this time round if the videos better, she promotes it and now people know who she is. Hopefully No Air wont stop from reaching a high posistion.
August 12, 200816 yr Author I also think Freeze should be released. Over here in the states, they are thinking about releasing Permanent Monday as the next single. I think that would be a big mistake.
