August 13, 200816 yr I think taking a break from the pop route is wise after they clearly lost their way on the Change album, but I'm hoping there are tracks which are much better than this new single of theirs on it.
August 13, 200816 yr Author I think taking a break from the pop route is wise after they clearly lost their way on the Change album, but I'm hoping there are tracks which are much better than this new single of theirs on it. Me too, Three had some amazing mellow tracks on it. I just hope that they've all the views on the record as its just not right. :(
August 13, 200816 yr Good in a way i guess. Hopefully the rest of the album is much better than Girls.
August 14, 200816 yr Me too, Three had some amazing mellow tracks on it. I just hope that they've all the views on the record as its just not right. :( Like Conversations Over    OMG bring back the good old days
August 14, 200816 yr I'm getting the 'Three' vibe from their comments there too. And in terms of their credibility that would be no bad thing! I seriously think they're overstating the 'no electropop' thing though - after all they're working with Taio Cruz and Orson, both of whom specialise in exactly that genre!
August 14, 200816 yr ^ I hated three :( I'm glad its going to be a different sound but if Girls is anything to by then I think I will give it a miss.
August 14, 200816 yr Something like Three woudnt be too bad, something similar to Too Lost In You or Hole In The Head would be brilliant.
August 17, 200816 yr Three was an amazing album, Million Different Ways, Conversations Over, Situations Heavy, Buster, Too Lost In You and Hole In The Head were all great tracks (Especially Million Different Ways), i do think the single choices from this album were terrible though. I wouldnt mind them making an album with songs similar to the ones mentioned above.
August 17, 200816 yr "more mature" anyone else get a deja vu flash back to just before Taller In More Ways was released? :w00t:

August 21, 200816 yr "more mature" anyone else get a deja vu flash back to just before Taller In More Ways was released? :w00t: Yeah they totally said that when TIMW was released  They did move the sound on for that album though, less urban more pop and electro and i think change was more straightforward but had a similar sound. They changed sounds between OT and AWDF too, and i like all their stuff so sure the new album will be different to what they've done but still great when you get into do it. It's what the babes do so well! Vs Girls Aloud who will probably roll out another 12 track Xenomania album. Their last one was great and using the one producer (when their as good as Xeno) can work brilliantly but TU's only problem is it all kinda ran together :o

I wasn't too impressed with their previous albums, but 'Change' was AMAZING imo. I LOVED just about EVERY track on there and I think its a great pop record. I still listen to it. Whereas the album sbefore (Angels with dirty faces, Three & Taller In More Ways - In particular) were disappointments to me, after the brilliant single choices. (Except from 'Shape' :puke:) But now I've grown up a bit more (Comments to self please ) I may have to give their albums a listen again to see if i think any different. But i doubt i will :(
August 21, 200816 yr I knew they should have spent more time with this album. I hope the other tracks are better than the lead single.
August 22, 200816 yr if mellow means ballads I think its a bad idea as Ballads rarely do well in the UK as much as I tend to prefer them personally. hmmm
