Hosts Reveil Representative

BJSC X's host nation, the Kingdom of Shadow, today has reveiled it's entry. Roisin Murphy the Irish electronica singer was finally confirmed after having featured in the host's signature for some time now, the song she shall be singing is 'Movie Star' taken from her latest album 'Overpowered'. Since it's release in the country, the single had made it into KoS's top ten most played songs EVER and was strongly believed to be the country's entry into BJSC 9 before Margaret Berger was confirmed.

Great track! :cheer: Likely to get points, but nothing is certain with the fantastic quality of entries so far
I agree that this contest is far more outstanding if comparing with other months' ones :o

it's really steering away from pop this time, lots of R&B tracks, or experimental tracks

it's a good move, all of the contests were blurring into one recently...with so many countries entering indie/alternative acts this time, at least some of them are bound to do well :D

or maybe it will help the pop songs even more as there will be less to choose from, so they get points almost by default.

The songs in this contest are SO much better than last time... Last time I was struggling to find 10 songs I really liked... This time it'll be easy :D but harder to award the BIG TWELVE :o
Agreed, no offense but there were some truely awful songs in last months competition.
10th contest is meant to be best, so will be the 20th :kink:

At least I won't get stuck with all the pop jam in the semis like last time. :kink:

here's a live acoustic version of Yelle's song, Ce Jeu

A week after her shock selection for Kopecka, Camille broke her silence in a largely irrrelevant interview with popular magazine 'Cek Out' :dancing:

Camille: I speak French, English, Spanish and four unknown languages. I make these up myself. There is one for the morning, lunch, afternoon and night. The language for the morning is very slow, like 'mebwehmeh', that might mean 'I want more sleep'. The language for the evening is much faster and a little hectic. And a little more Latin. That could be 'keteket ekete kete', which would mean 'I'm so excited I'm going to wear my pink boots tonight!

WORSHIP HER

Keri Hilson is thrilled to be returning to represent USR at the Buzzjack Song Contest, and after being selected three days ago- She gave an interview in USR magazine 'Hiya'

"I came across as a bit of a diva before, But I was just really nervous and anxious. I was so glad to come in the top five, and I hope to do that this year. There are some massive songs this year, so it will be really hard to do that. But I just want to get past the qualifications round".

She spoke about her performance, with R&B Superstar Nas, and revealed that Nas helped her prepare for her second stint. "I'm so nervous about doing this all over again, but I'm glad I've got some company in the shape of Nas. He's amazing, and gave me a fantastic pep talk. I can't wait to perform at the Semi Final and there is a mixture of nerves and excitedness.

But who does she fear are her biggest rivals. "The MDice song is brilliant, as the is the Utopia song. I think thier will be alot of competition and I can't wait to watch the other's live".

Third stint actually. Her and Chris Brown came 26th last time.

It happened because everyone already knew every second of the song :kink:

New Dates For Gigi D'Alessio's Tour

After two successful performances for Herzebanian representative Gigi D'Alessio, two new dates have been added to his intensive promotional tour. The singer will now perform in Kopecka on September 9th, and Kylienips on September 12th before flying to Kingdom of Shadow for the BJSC Semi-final.

"It's been very exciting for me to perform to crowds in different countries," said D'Alessio in a statement, "and after the wonderful responses in Nickodonia and FSR Rontvia I would love for there to be excitement all over the Buzzjack World about my song, and to meet as many people of as many nationalities as possible prior to my performance in the Contest."

Angelic disappointment

These new dates now fill up the week and a half leading up to the semi-finals, but some sources are claiming that the singer had been holding out on confirming these dates for so long because he had hoped to perform in Angelic Land with its representative and good friend of the singer, Charlotte Perrelli.

"Gigi was hoping to do a show in Angelic Land, as he is good friends with Charlotte and her ex-husband Nicola Perelli," an insider told us, "but unfortunately none of the research team behind the tour could locate it on a map!"

The Miskanthan leg of the promo tour starts tomorrow with a performance in Allecian, followed by FSR Farahtyn on Sunday.

CSS Rock the BuzzJack World

Whilst CSS may not be getting the best out of the odds for the BuzzJack song contest in the Kingdom of Shadow. Their tour is going down like a storm. Here is a peak at some of the songs from the opener (over a week ago) at Juranabaijan.

Lets Make Love And Listen To death From Above

Left Behind

Jager Yoga

The performances have went down a storm so far with only one date (in the Kingdom of Shadow) not sold out!!!

The Kingdom of Shadow's 20,000 residents are currently being spread very thinly as so many artists from around the world are arriving and holding concerts on the same nights! But, the King of Shadow, ever-ready to face any challenge is currently shipping Ashtonese immigrants across the boarders to ensure all events are well attended :)
