How do Remixes of Big Songs fair in this contest?? :unsure: Just wondering...

I don't think you should worry about what people have said about your song. I think it was just one comment which led to another which made everyone chip in too. :lol: The winning song receives points from about 40% of the voters which means the other 60% could have either hated it or just not liked it enough to give it points. There are definitely love/hate songs in every contest but, as you've said, people don't usual air their views publicly on them. :unsure:

I'm concerned that it won't make the final because most of the hate it's getting is from people in my semi...but comments made so far about Headhunted are about 50/50 love hate...I don't think a song which has caused people to publicly voice hatred for it could ever be in contention for the win, all of the other winners are extremely likeable tracks in one way or another

 

compare that to your entry Jimmy for example which has had a lot of praise, I don't know anyone who dislikes it really, and it's tracks like this which are far more likely to win because Jimmy might pick up loads of twelves, tens and eights and a scattering of low points whereas Headhunted might be more likely to get a fair few twelves and tens and then a load of 'nul points' -_-

 

if it even makes it to the final that is :heehee: it seems that a lot of people would rather it didn't qualify :cry:

Lol saturday will be very interesting. Ive gotten so addicted to headhunted (suprisingly) that it just made an appearance on my personal chart. Im also really like the Daft Punk song in my semi- just not sure what people think of mine, probably is gonna lurk at the bottom in the results or be a darkhorse. .

All 4 of us with 9/9finals are all in the same semi so i defo think we have the hardest semi.

it would be like only listening to the last two minutes of Bohemian Rhapsody in my opinion -_- you miss most of the track
