Helena's song is good but I just don't think she's ever destined to win BJSC, she has a hardcore set of fans but a lot of voters just ignore her...go back to Serebro before anyone notices :kink:

CSS (or Cansei de Ser Sexy) are a Brazilian group who have had hits including the amazing Lets Make Love And Listen To Death From Above and Left Behind!!!

 

Whay are CSS participating for Juranabaijan in the 10th Song Contest???

Juranabaijan feels it needs to take a different approach to the contest in order to obtain that first top 10 finish. Maroon 5 and The Script were perhaps a bit too well known for the contest and Rihanna was seen as 'cheap'.

 

Do you feel a band like CSS is the way forward for the BuzzJack Song Contest???

Yes, it's always good to add some difference in flavour to a competition. There's no point in having a contest full of the worlds best Boy Bands for example as you wouldn't know who to choose from. By choosing CSS, we may loose a few voters, but will hopefully gain a few more 12s. Yes Maroon 5/Rihanna and The Script both got a 12 each, but apart from that, scoring was lacklustre, we need more higher points.

 

What song will CSS be performing???

It is likely to be Left Behind, but we may well choose an amazing album track from Donkey...we will let you know when we find out

For this contest's 10th edition, we are determined to make BJSC 10 something special. We want even more entrants, even better entrants and even... well you get the picture. The last nine contests have been full of talent, both from already proven artists such as Britney Spears, Shakira, Cyndi Lauper, Beverley Knight, Lily Allen, Dixie Chicks, Sophie Ellis-Bextor ( <_< ) but also from completely undiscovered artists such as Sara Bareilles, Katy Perry and Margaret Berger.

So get ready, get set, and start scouring the land for the greatest song possible as in BJSC X, the winner will not only have to beat all the artists in their semi-final, nor all the artists in the overall final but they must also beat the previous nine winners!
