I think it's only due to the fact that the single is having a rather fabulous radio support so it would be silly too much time.

Suga's should of taken a leaf out of their book!

I think it could possibly be down to the X Factor and Leona, they probs swapped slots with her. Leona was due to perform on 18th - two weeks before the release of 'Forgive Me'!

 

Its going to be tough for the album (they so should of released the same week or the week before Sugababes as they're quiet weeks), here are the album threats...

LOL, i think those days are gone. Top 5 is the highest they'll get though, i predict #5 actually but with MASSIVE sales, i predict first week sales of 52k and overall sales of over 550k.

And besides that, i stand by both posts. The person i was referring to was going overboard with the GA cover and my post about the sugababes was the demise of them as a group in everything, not just the cover. I would not say that an act was not what they used to be just because of one single cover lol. Which brings me around to my first point again, its only a cover.

If i really wanted to waste my time in looking at the forum JUST for one of your posts I would have posted it ALOT sooner than I did. I was just browsing the Sugababes forum and came across that comment then I was thinking "hang on a minute", looked back at the GA forum and saw what you posted here. And you still commented on the Cover being "bland and Boring" Just like many people here are about the GA cover.

i think they will add a couple of promo dates into the release week, maybe paul o'grady but lets face it, the x-factor one is the biggy.

 

And as for the album, i dont think it would get number 1 from anytime now until xmas as there is so much out. I reckon first week sales will be 60k

i heard it on the radio today and its so so so differnet for them but it def is a song that it isnt instant but will be brilliant in time this will be like call the shots i think and have a very steady chart run

That mega X Factor charity single is released on 27th Oct and they will perform it on 25th Oct, i think thats actually the main reason for the GA move forward. Its still ok, it means we get the album and next single earlier (which i think they will perform on TV for the first time on An Audience With...).

yeh i was thinking, if they bring it forward, we may have time for 2 singles before xmas - woooooo!!

Its a possibility but if that happened i'd want it to be the 1st or 8th Decemeber, no later or they would be outdone by all the xmas contenders. I think its more likely that the new single will be released on 5th or 12th Jan though, 5 weeks is too little between The Promise and the PSB collabaration (which i am sure will be the next single!).

I'm not getting why people are saying they chose a bad week. Atleast Nov 3rd is early and they will sell well each week going up to xmas. If they leave it until december, they will only have 3 or 4 weeks before the new year slump. Whats good about that?

 

Just because other big acts are releasing the same week, doesnt mean it will stop people buying their album.

I think some of you will be surprised :P
