I don't think this is as good as their other stuff- don't really like it that much- hopefully it's a grower

I've been hearing it loads on Capital and it still hasn't grown on me- not very promising! :-(

Most other people say this is growing on them so its only really not very promising for you.

Hated it at first, and now I like it (well the chorus is what draws me to like the song... its so damned repetitive but in the good way). The intro to the song makes me cringe a little bit though. Anyways I'd say it will be in the top 3-8 range.

What channel is Capital? Eg, Radio 1 - 98.9fm

Hey Robin i think this may have been a bit of a joke from mindy! "The promise" isn't that promising? lol i thought it was funny. Hasn't grown on me yet either, but it still may (like lichen), as it has loads of time to and their single quality is generally excellent

I highly doubt he's the only person that doesn't like the song. :)

For instance, I don't really like it at all. It's like you are waiting for it to get good and it never does. Top 5.

i was just saying that i didn't like it as much as their other stuff. It probably will grow on me, but at the moment it hasn't. That's all

It will defo be top 3.

An act singing on the x-factor who's album isnt out for another 2 weeks - its a recipe for a top 3.

Call the shots got to no3, and that was after the album had been released!!

See, THAT´s what I was sayng when I made the point about their singles being big due to exposure on key TV shows.

Everyone says this will be big because it´ll be on X Factor, or Children In Need etc... Nobody even consider the quality of the song itself. What´s the point charting that way? They could release anything and just perform on a bloody contest show... -_-

The ideal hit is that song you hear and say: "that´s going to be big...". Not the one you have to look on the artists TV schedule to check if it has chances or not.

There's not that many programmes where you can perform your song anymore! X Factor, Paul O'Grady, This Morning & Strictly are the only MAJOR programmes that draw the biggest audiences enough to promote your single Now. I think it's great exposure. This is why I miss TOTP & Cd:Uk etc...

Oh and People have said they like/don't like the song before even saying anything about performing on the X Factor. They add it in after for example "I really like the song, and it's being performed on X Factor 2 days before release so I think it will go Top 5" or whatever. Because this is a prediction Topic and with the fact they are performing on X Factor should guarantee it going top 10. People are just predicting and taking into account all the promo they're doing for it!

Of course we consider the quality of the song.

The promo dates only make it more of a gaurenteed success.

All the big acts promote on shows like this and GA would not need to sing on the x-factor to get top 10, they would anyway.
