Posted September 17, 200816 yr is it just me that thinks this was far better than the awful Lady  cUd1NmCmx1c this really should have gone top ten...
September 17, 200816 yr Author I don't like the vocals much but I like the tune a lot, I think I'd enjoy the instrumental version of this track male vocals and dance tracks rarely work for me and Lady got on my nerves :puke:
September 17, 200816 yr Yeah I cant bare to listen to Lady cos its been so overplayed, but I really liked it back then and brings me nice memories. Prefer it over the overrated Groovejet
September 17, 200816 yr I quite enjoyed both. The vocals were cheesy granted, but it just WORKED. Insanely catchy. The mash-up of Lady and The Boy Is Mine remains the best though.

September 17, 200816 yr Chillin' was far superior to Lady (that was a boring, repetitive song imo), and Groovejet overrated? Not for me! :o
September 17, 200816 yr I too prefered this to their big hit single, loved it. Deserved better than it got.
September 17, 200816 yr I thought Groovejet was far better... Wouldnt make my top50 dance songs of the year 2000
September 17, 200816 yr Chillin' was far superior to Lady (that was a boring, repetitive song imo), and Groovejet overrated? Not for me! :o It was a huge hit and regarded as the best dance song of the year when it definitely wasnt imo.
September 17, 200816 yr Although I am an avid Sophie fan, I will agree 'Groovejet' was quite overrated.
September 17, 200816 yr It was a huge hit and regarded as the best dance song of the year when it definitely wasnt imo. What was the best for you? (at the moment I can't remember big dance records from that year, but I haven't checked back tbh)
September 17, 200816 yr What was the best for you? (at the moment I can't remember big dance records from that year, but I haven't checked back tbh) There were loads and loads of big dance hits that year, most of them I liked. Too many to name.
September 19, 200816 yr I thought Groovejet was far better... Groovejet was the most overrated dance song ever. It gets played every 45 minutes on heart :puke2:
September 19, 200816 yr Author I would say Groovejet was possibly my second or third favourite dance song of 2000, I preferred Ordinary World (Aurora) and Toca's Miracle (Fragma) though... I bought a hell of a lot of Positiva singles in 2000  Heart Of Asia, Will I Ever were another two
September 19, 200816 yr oooh Aurora - Hear You Calling also from 2000, loved it. Powerful trance single, no airplay, no video, and made #17 in the charts. Oh the good old days :(
September 19, 200816 yr I thought Groovejet was far better... Yeah, definately, but even 'Groovejet' gets on my titties. Really grew to hate "Lady". "Chillin" was a tad better, agreed.

Oh the good old days :( the only Aurora single I didn't buy, but only because I'd never heard of it until I tuned into the chart that week  did it really have no video :o
September 20, 200816 yr the only Aurora single I didn't buy, but only because I'd never heard of it until I tuned into the chart that week  did it really have no video :o Intense radio and video play these days and you're lucky to dent the top 40! But this was when you'd go to a decent club on a Friday and buy the single the following Saturday. It has all changed for the worse.
