Posted September 22, 200816 yr Why has this suddenly appeared? I am a huge fan of her so I am glad but have no idea why it has jumped back up the chart esp to number 6 on itunes?
September 22, 200816 yr Yup, it was sung on Saturday's show in a really emotional (and brilliant) performance.
September 22, 200816 yr Author ok just saw the video - wow great singer - glad the song is being recognised again.
September 22, 200816 yr Author no - saturday nights are for having a life not sitting in watching xfactor!!!!!!!
September 22, 200816 yr I'm speechless!! Firstly that idiots watch X-Factor and secondly that by watching some cretin on the show warbling some awful track that they would actually fish it out to buy it... Brainless sheep!
September 22, 200816 yr Ok, you just dissed over a 5th of the UK there - go away and come back when you have something nice to say. X Factor is AMAZE, its on way before a night out should start and she was an amazing singer with a heartfelt performance.

Firstly that idiots watch X-Factor and secondly that by watching some cretin on the show warbling some awful track that they would actually fish it out to buy it... Brainless sheep! Lots of songs get played on XF every single week and never get anywhere near the top 10 like this song has done.
September 22, 200816 yr it's less a case of sheep going to buy it because a girl sang it but more a case of people realising that they like the song but don't have it I don't recall it being on any compilation albums of the era, it wasn't on a Hits or Now album despite getting to No.3, so a lot of people won't have it plus unlike a lot of other 2001 songs, it barely gets any airplay anymore, so perhaps it just triggered a memory for a lot of people
September 22, 200816 yr yes, I checked earlier who beat it to No.1! Lady Marmalade entered at the top on the same week and Shaggy's Angel was at No.2, down from No.1 Faith Hill entered at No.3 on a separate note, I much prefer This Kiss, one of my favourite country songs
September 22, 200816 yr I'm glad its doing so well! Quite funny that its now #4 on the Itunes chart, it would be hilarious if this got to #2 or #1 in the charts by Sunday - and beat its peak position
September 23, 200816 yr Now #4 on I-Tunes! Once again it goes to show the incredible power of X-Factor!! Will be interesting to see where this enters on Sunday

Firstly that idiots watch X-Factor and secondly that by watching some cretin on the show warbling some awful track that they would actually fish it out to buy it... Brainless sheep! How rude! Every thought that people actually like the song and don't actually have it as part of their collection? There's plenty of tracks that are given the same, if not more, exposure on X Factor week in week out that do not make the top 40 let alone the top 5. IMO it is a fantastic track that hasn't aged one bit over the last 7 years. yes, I checked earlier who beat it to No.1! There are a couple of fantastic live renditions of TYB on YouTube - they're definitely worth checking out.

I do watch the x factor - my point is that is it only the audition stages so its not exactly important - the real show starts with the live performances thats when the interest begins. It just gets me that people go and buy songs like this just because someone has sung it in an audition - the songs deserves better than that - its one of the best Faith has done and it had its peak at 3 on release. It happens far too often now. The chart rules are messed up when it comes to songs like this imo. Edited September 23, 200816 yr by rossyboy88
