Also the rather lovely artwork photo got completely BUTCHERED by that font choice and the placement

I think the placing makes the deluxe cover look a BIT better but that stretched font is terrible and the white spaces :( they have some truly genius moments across their artwork (mainly their CD2 single covers for the WWTNS? and Chemistry eras) but the Out of Control era isn't a shining example of that.

The font and placing were definitely a choice.. such a shame because all the picture of the album and single covers were stunning.

Nicola revealed today on Twitter that the album was going to be named "Girls Aloud: Revolution" before they decided for "Out of control" :o

I would have LOVED that ! :o

That would have been a great title, suddenly any if the other albums have different names ?

Out Of Control is full is amazing tracks in addition to the great singles served from the album.

1. The Loving Kind

2. Miss You Bow Wow

3. Love is Pain

4. Untouchable

5. Love is the Key

6. Turn to Stone

7. The Promise

8. We Wanna Party

9. Revolution in the Head

10. Rolling Back the Rivers in Time

11. Live in the Country

12. Fix Me Up

I enjoy the top 8 actually... I'm SO glad 'Rivers' didn't end up becoming the 3rd single like was heavily rumoured (and I'm pretty sure almost happened).

Untouchable did not deserve to be the single to break their run of Top 10 singles.
Revolution in the Head was the surprise showstopper. Who’da thought?

Only just discovered that Soul Seekerz remixed Untouchable, but their mixes didn't get commercially released (only the Bimbo Jones remixes were).

They were uploaded to YouTube 5 years ago!

There's also Almighty Remixes, which I've never heard and can't find uploaded anywhere...

Just seen this on PopJustice: a full-length version of the black and white scenes in 'The Promise'!

Sarah looks particularly stunning in her 'walking primrose' verse.

It was a different video for them and it worked very well for the song, i havnt watched even the normal video for a while but watching it again reminded me of the buzz that was around that single.
I actually think that is better than the overall video, I can't stand the bits where they are watching themselves and pulling those poses it always makes me cringe. I remember me and my friends at uni watching it and howling laughing at it.
I like the video, the posing is cringe in parts but it works within the video concept.
I can’t say I’ve ever found anything about the original video to be cringeworthy or laughable! Mainly I think the drive-in cinema scenes are effective in showing off their 60s style glamour/beauty.

Out of Control was released 13 years ago this week - 3rd November 2008! It became their first studio album to hit #1, but sadly it is also their final album...

13 years without a Girls Aloud studio album

I wish beyond anything that we could have got at least one more, it felt too soon for it to end just there.
