P!nk has her best chance in years at bagging her 3rd UK No1 single lying at No1 on iTunes giving her a head start over the competition and the physical out tomorrow.

 

The Killers new one is out to download tomorrow, could it storm to the top spot on downloads alone ala the Kings Of Leon? Or given that the physical release is some weeks off will it start of slower perhaps like Madonna or Ne-Yo?

 

Boyzone will undoubtedly have an old skool following more inclined to buy the physical, so if they can establish themselves in the top10 of iTunes could their physicals give them the edge and a unexpected No1?

 

Kings Of Leon will still be selling well, how many times this year have we been expecting a new No1 only for the incumbent to hold all new comers at bay? They stand a chance given that they have several versions in iTunes chart so could be selling more than P!nk or could overtake her during the week?

 

Oasis are looking more like a long shot but remember as recently as 2005 they shifted 75k in a week mainly driven by physicals, but the amount of shops selling them has vastly decreased since so this could work against them.

 

Who will be No1 next Sunday?

I love it to be The Killers, as I'm not a great fan of the P!nk track.

 

Its going to be a very interesting chart this week.

P!nks Popularity on iTunes is edging further away from (Current number 2) KoL though. So I would say (Depending on The Killers) she has it in the bag!

I really hope it will be P!nk at #1. I can't see Boyzone or Kings of Leon doing it, but Oasis and The Killers could be strong competitors.

Easily pink, and well deserved too.

You should follow the iTunes thread more often. Maybe you'd see P!nk is #1 on iTunes with quite a large lead and that she was only released on Friday. She also has her physical single out next week and the Sugababes don't.

why is everyone under estimating Oasis? on Monday the singles is released as a physical and download.

Boyzone have physicals this week and they're already pretty high on downloads. Hope you're right about Pink ... though!

id prefer the kings of leon, one of the most credible #1's this centuary... but i guess the steam has run out and they are due to drop.
