Let's talk about those great Disney movies that we all fell in love when we were only kids. Not the 3D films or the High School Musical c**p of todays generation (they're missing out on SO much). There were many great movies with some really classic songs and usually a great message for kids to learn.

I think my favourite is probably Beauty and the Beast, although I loved Sleeping Beauty cos of the terrifying Maleficent (Malevola in portuguese), she gave me nightmares when I was a kid

When I was 5 The Fox and The Hound was released and I loved it.

My favourites have to be The Jungle Book (who doesn't like this?), Pinocchio, Robin Hood, Sword in the Stone and Lady and the Tramp though. Aladdin is best out of the 90s ones when they had a bit of a resurgence.

:w00t:

My top 10

10. Cinderella

9. 101 Dalmations

I liked:

Cinderella - Is it me, or does she look like Kylie Minogue?

Beauty and the Beast

Hunchback of Notre Dame

The Aristocats

and Snow White and the Seven Dwarves

We've got a collection of every Disney classic on VHS which my Nan bought for us and there were all first edition videos too.

Kids today don't know what they are missing out on. Give me Cinderella over High School c**p with plastic face Efron anyday!

Bambi was 1942?! :o Woah.

I loved Bambi, Peter Pan, Beauty And The Beast, Little Mermaid, Fox and the Hound  And of course The Lion King.

So many are total classics (and I have most of them on DVD). My personal top 5 would be:

1. Aladdin (brilliant on so many levels)

2. Beauty and the Beast

3. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

4. Cinderella (the bad witch is so EVIL!!)

5. Peter Pan

I adore The Lion King and Fantasia as well.

I forgot who the bad witch in Cinderella was lol. Was it the stepmother?

Yeah.

There wasn't a witch in Cinderella

Indeed, Lady Tremaine is just a b**ch.

Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan (I love how much of a b**ch Tink is) and The Hunchback of Notre Dame are the best.

Such a sad day when the animation wing closed at Disney. Kids are missing so much.

You can get Snow White on Region 1 - I've got a copy right here.

Don't forget you've also got great animated sections in Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks and, er, Song of the South which Disney doesn't like to talk about so much these days.
