November 30, 200816 yr No surprises to see Alex shift up to favourite after last night's performance of 'Listen'. It's exactly what the voting public want to see. If she can deliver like that over the forthcoming 2 weeks then she could well end up winning the whole thing...
November 30, 200816 yr Stunned to see Diana still in with a chance of wiining but i think she has blown it unfortunetly :(
November 30, 200816 yr YES for Alex! She really is amazing, I'm confident she'll do good next week as she gets to pick her own song and I could tell that 'Listen' had some of her own influence too. She just has to win it!
November 30, 200816 yr Listen was excellent :yahoo: Best performance of the show out of the contestants for me :D
November 30, 200816 yr I still don't think Alexandra can win even after them 2 great performances. I still think Eggnog has it in the bag
November 30, 200816 yr I still don't think Alexandra can win even after them 2 great performances. I still think Eggnog has it in the bag :puke:
November 30, 200816 yr Does anyone else think another reason Eoghan could be doing so good is because of his nationality? It certainly worked in Leon's favour last year ...
November 30, 200816 yr I just think he's in there because he has the likeable/Cute factor about him but his voice is deffo not the best in the competition  He should not be there still. Sorry Eoghan fans
November 30, 200816 yr Does anyone else think another reason Eoghan could be doing so good is because of his nationality? It certainly worked in Leon's favour last year ... You can't vote from Ireland, so no.
November 30, 200816 yr Fantastic to see Alex is now the favourite, i doubt she'll beat Orville but we can hope. I do however think she has a great chance of coming second now.
November 30, 200816 yr You can't vote from Ireland, so no. But you can vote from Northern Ireland, where Eoghan is from.
November 30, 200816 yr No you can't... Yeah ok... I guess next year Scotland and Wales will be unable to vote too.
November 30, 200816 yr You must be able to vote from Northern Ireland surely?! I don't mean this is dis-respect to any of Northern Irish or Scottish posters (not so much Welsh as it doesn't often happen in the same degree) but they ALWAYS want to beat England, in anything. They'll all get behind their national singer if he's a pile of $h!t just because he's from Ireland or Scotland. I still don't thinm Alexandra will win, but I can see why a lot of money will have come in for her after last night...
November 30, 200816 yr Why the hell cant you vote from Northern Ireland, part of the United Kingdom. Also what is the point of broadcasting it in Ireland if the Irish cant vote.
November 30, 200816 yr Why the hell cant you vote from Northern Ireland, part of the United Kingdom. Also what is the point of broadcasting it in Ireland if the Irish cant vote. I think you can vote from Northern Ireland, it's just the ROI that can't vote as it's not part of the UK.
November 30, 200816 yr I think you can vote from NI, just not ROI I still don't see Alexandra winning, but if it means Eoghan's odds get longer, I will put a bet on him
November 30, 200816 yr I hope that is the Top 2, if it is then I dont mind either of them winning
