I disagree. Avril's vocals are terrible on her version and have nothing on Leona's.

I actually prefer Avril's version of I Will Be, it would have been such a big improvement to the dire album had she put it on it.

Leona nabs Chace Crawford for new video

Leona Lewis has reportedly asked Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford to appear in her upcoming music video.

 

The X Factor winner has been filming the promo for 'I Will Be' in New York, and leaked photographs from the set show the singer being arrested by a police officer.

 

Crawford will feature in a speaking role, according to People.

 

"Chace went to London a couple of months ago for meetings and to promote Gossip Girl. He went to a party and ended up meeting Leona," an insider told the magazine.

 

"[The two]hit it off and talk every once in a while and have become fast friends...A couple of weeks ago Leona called Chace and asked if he would be in her next video. He obviously said yes."

 

'I Will Be' was co-written by Avril Lavigne and Max Martin and originally recorded by Lavigne for the limited edition version of her LP The Best Damn Thing.

 

As for the Avril vs Leona debate: i think the song suits Avril's voice much more IMO! But I do love Leona's too :wub:

Avril's version of the song was great, but when I heard Leona's it was just so much better! :wub:
