October 8, 200817 yr YAH! For Girls Aloud this is awsome news! I'm so pleased for them! (Who was the person that said they would stall on B-list last week?)
October 8, 200817 yr Author I did. All the others did, they obviously made an exception. I never said they would, I said it would most likely stall cos that's what usually happens.
October 8, 200817 yr It's probably because they brought the release date forward by a week Edited October 8, 200817 yr by spiker
October 8, 200817 yr GA A-list on r1 and r2. Never been done before :cheer: Suprised the saturdays didnt go up to A though. Yay for GA! Finally A listed on both Radio 1 and 2! After 6 years it's such an achievement! lol AMAZING for GA, im soooooooooo happy for them. This has a chance to sell bucket loads, i think we're on course for it to possibly outsell CTS! Glad to see Sugababes down to B-list on R2, dont get me wrong i love them, but ive had it in for this song ever since i heard it. Great for GA! Their really are ascending now, getting properly huge. Early days for the saturdays, i think B list is still quite good. Annoyed that Girls is B on R2 now, would've liked it to stay A this week as its fully released this week but it has reached #1 on airplay chart already so hopefully job done
October 9, 200817 yr I did. All the others did, they obviously made an exception. I never said they would, I said it would most likely stall cos that's what usually happens. No, you said ga WOULD stall. I remembered coz i thought how can you know thats what will happen. Anyways, as i expected, it didnt stall - wooooooooooo!
October 9, 200817 yr No, you said ga WOULD stall. I remembered coz i thought how can you know thats what will happen. Anyways, as i expected, it didnt stall - wooooooooooo! I think he meant they would stall on the B-List for another week rather than going to A-List right away like a lot of songs do.
October 9, 200817 yr Author ^^Exactly. And Robinwhatever, you obviously dont have all the playlists from loads of years to know how it works. So it unexpectedly moved up to the A-list this week when it would most likely stall on the B-list this week and move up next week. So don't give me that it was expected to go A-list this week c**p, cos it wasnt  For songs to go A-list this is the most common pattern: C-B-B-A. If you are B-listed immediately you'll usually stall on the 2nd week: B-B-A. C-B-A, B-A or A-listed immediately is very rare.
October 9, 200817 yr ^^Exactly. And Robinwhatever, you obviously dont have all the playlists from loads of years to know how it works. GA have moved C-B-A before. I dont need to be sad enough to know back years of playlists to know that -_-
October 9, 200817 yr GA have moved C-B-A before. I dont need to be sad enough to know back years of playlists to know that -_- He's got archives of them. He doesn't know them off the top of his head! Why've they got rid of Mojave already! -_- Has it even been released yet?
October 10, 200817 yr Author GA have moved C-B-A before. I dont need to be sad enough to know back years of playlists to know that -_- Funny that you know that then. Guess i'm not the only sad one  Doesnt take away from the fact that its a RARE move.
October 11, 200817 yr Am surprised alesha dixon is not on r1 yet I wouldn't be surprised if Alesha never made it on Radio 1's playlist at all. Edited October 11, 200817 yr by Señor Hugo
October 12, 200817 yr ^^ how can a song as catchy as that not get playlisted though? especially as she won a bbc talent show aswell. fingers crossed anyway.
October 15, 200817 yr ^^I didn't think it was that good  ....As much as I love Alesha. Maybe R1 is of the same opinion?
