October 13, 200816 yr I like it but it's not worthy of number one over Britney, I mean come on. I hope they don't call the album The Circus, you would have thought they could use some originality for their album name but obviously not.

I hope they don't call the album The Circus, you would have thought they could use some originality for their album name but obviously not. Well its hardly an original word is it anyway ... and Britters doesn't have the monopoly on it ... besides Erasure had an album with the same name a few years back. Norma I agree about the number 1 status in that I'm not sure Take That's song is of number 1 calibre. However ... Britney's song is just about average too! On this evidence I think there are more deserving acts out there than both of them! Edited October 14, 200816 yr by Norma_Snockers
October 13, 200816 yr This sounds like everything out there, it could be by any indie-pop band. Nah i reckon it sounds Take That to me. Definately not indie pop imo, though that is coming from the one who thought Forever was a ballad as you pointed out  I think its quite good :D
October 13, 200816 yr im a bit tired of this take that epic balled thing.. patience, rule the world, greatest day.. its all abit too much! lol #2
October 14, 200816 yr There is always the possibility Take That had no idea that Britney's new album was called 'Circus' any way why would Take That need to cash in on Britney :D

October 14, 200816 yr Take That steadfast in Britney 'Circus' row Tuesday, October 14 2008, 15:54 BST By Simon Reynolds, Entertainment Reporter Rex Features Take That have refused to change the name of their forthcoming album, despite it carrying the same title and release date as Britney Spears's new LP. The group will debut The Circus on December 1, with Spears's new record Circus out the same week. However, Take That's manager told the Daily Record that the boyband are sticking with their current title: "The boys have worked on this for months, like Britney, and we certainly won't be changing the title. "When you work that far in advance, it's impossible to know what people will call albums. Erasure had an album Circus. The name is not copyrighted. "I doubt there will be confusion. Fans will either ask for the new record by Take That or Britney Spears." An insider added: "Britney is not likely to change the title. She announced it two weeks ago. There won't be confusion - Take That are great at what they do and everyone is excited about Britney's comeback."
