That's the same week that Leona is on according to her official website. It's really confusing this year, I want some proper confirmed dates. :angry:

But That was after I saw it once, but then I saw it again (3 times more in fact) and I really regret saying that and saw that it really wasn't as good as I was making it out to be. -_-

In order my fave performances this week

 

Diana steals it this week best performance :D

 

1-Diana - One Word Stunning. She is so sweet and she has a really nice voice and it was truly an excellent performance :cheer:

10/10

 

2-Scott - Much improved this week. I think it was a dreadful song choice last week and the young kid comes bouncing back this week. Amazing 9/10

 

3-JLS - After that performance they have gone up in my estimate. That was amazing 8/10

 

4-Alexandra - Obvious song choice, was great very smoothly sung 7/10

 

5-Austin - Man oh man. Great performance like the way he changed the song 7/10

 

6-Laura - Wasn't as good as last week but it was good 7/10

 

7-Daniel - I think he has a lovely voice but it was a slow boring performance 5/10

 

8-Eoghan - This was nicely sang much better performance this week 6/10

 

9-Rachel - Wasn't that bad. Excellent performance and she looked amazing but she had a bit of trouble singing 4/10

 

10-Ruth - Wasn't a great performance this week a big let down however Purple Rain was amazing. 4/10

 

11-Girlband - As much as i liked them and thought their harmonies have been great as of late. It was a massive dissapointment and therefore the right act went this week. 2/10

Diana and JLS were the best performances on the night

 

I really thought that Daniel would go on the night seems he was saved by a whisker his performance was horrendous, it was very cabaret-ish

 

Anyhow thank god Girl Band have gone, they should have went last week, it seems Louie was not interested in the girl bands at all, he only wanted to coach JLS.

 

The rest of the performances were pretty average apart fron Laura, she stood out above the rest, not her best performance but she was still great.

 

And Ruth was amazing in the knock off... of the bottom 2 don't know how she got in the bottom 2 over Daniel, why did Simon go deadlock I really don't know.

 

I just pray and hope Daniel or Rachel leave next week.

Just been watching Ruth's 'Purple Rain' again... and I am still baffled as to how Simon could let it go to "Deadlock". Even Louis for that matter. Simon did it a few years ago and went against his group, so why couldn't Louis? Louis and Simon both need a good Slap. I am happy that Ruth got into the bottom two, because if she wasn't in the bottom two then I don't think we would have heard her sing that. I actually think it's enough to carry her through the competition longer now :o :dance:

I agree with you Johnjo.. not about Louis because Simon did it after the Conways became really quite despised, which Girl Band aren't.. I think Louis was right to stick by his group. But for Simon to say he was going to judge it on those performances and then take it to deadlock - just because she didn't sing in Spanish (WHICH, by the way Cowell, the rest of the UK is glad for..). He is really getting on my wick this series, having a go at Cheryl for her song choices when he's been totally lazy and predictable (who wants to bet that Scott is singing Fly My To The Moon next week?)

 

I also agree that Purple Rain will see Ruth fly through the next couple weeks at least - which could make things interesting if the housewives of Brtiain insist on keeping Daniel in... the old fashioned big band thing could work for him next week too.... my dear Scott could be in danger!! :(

I dont think Rachel's going to last that long really. Hopefully Ruth has gained some fans after that Purple Rain performance to save her on Saturday.

Purple should have at least kept her in the competition for at least another 3 weeks -_-

Either way he was in a win-win situation ... because if by some absurdity Ruth had polled the least number (I'm baffled as to how she was in the last two anyway) he could still have claimed that it wasn't his doing ... but the public's.

Yes I've always assumed that Simon Cowell is told the voting figures for the bottom two by a member of the x factor producers/tv crew, so he knows who has polled the lowest vote, and therefore he makes his decision to suit his purpose.
