seriously?! not top200 for the last 2 weeks? that is horrendous. thats a same difference type top200 run...

Same Difference sold over 100,000 copies and survived 5 weeks in the Top 75 i'll have you know. ;)

 

How much is Sweet 7 on now? 20k? :P

 

I was listening to this on my iPod the other day (because a friend lent me it) the first 5 tracks are great (including the singles. :P) Didn't get a chance to listen to any more...but they did all seem a bit...samey. :(

Is there any way to know how much One Touch has sold internationally? or is there any international chart entries?

It reached top 10 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. They were apparently 'Big in Japan' and the rest of Asia.

 

 

From what I gather it sold reasonably well oversea's but not enough to prevent them being dropped.

This week I went to London and saw a nice book, OCC official material, "Virgin Book of British Hits Albums", 2009, by Martin Roach, ISBN-10: 0753517000 , with peak position, weeks on chart and certification of every album ever charting in the UK (till mid 2009, I think). Well, Taller in more ways was certified 3xPlatinum, not 2, according to this book (which I completeley see normal, as last known figure is 887,264). And, according to the book, "Catfights and Spotlights" was Gold, not Silver. (Last known figure is 122,326).

 

BPI website has LOTS of albums under certified or non certified at all but then we've seen MusicWeek publish the updated and real certifications, etc.

 

Anyone knows if this book is correct and those 2 albums are in fact officialy certified 3xPlat/Gold respectively??

 

 

C&S has sold over 100k so is a Gold album, iirc it did get certified.

 

 

Taller is also a triple plat certification for sure. Most commonly I see Three as 2x rather than Taller as 2x. Afaik all three 2.0 albums are 3x

And TIMW will have definitely passed 900k by now, so it should be 3xPlat, not 2.

I just bought 'Three' and 'Angels with Dirty Faces' very cheaply. I now (finally) have every Sugababe album except Sweet 7, but I can't get myself to buy that :(
