October 21, 200816 yr Author I hope its not one either  Do you hope ANY of them are singles? :heehee:
October 21, 200816 yr I would choose: 1. girls 2. every heart broken 3. unbreakable heart 4. you on a good day Recordcompany: 1. girls 2. no can do 3. every heart broken 4. -
October 21, 200816 yr As much as I love 'Truce' I think it would be better as just an Album Track. Maybe it could pass as their LAST ever single before they split or whatever but yeah, I hope they keep it as an album track

I think we'll have another Follow Me Home if they released Truce. However, I love both songs (FMH and Truce), and they should keep them only as album tracks.
October 21, 200816 yr What the label will do: 1. Girls 2. No Can Do 3. Every Heart Broken 4. Hanging On A Star ^_^ don't you think they'll try and chuck a ballad in somewhere if they're stretching to four singles :o anyway, my ideal order would be 1. Every Heart Broken (would've been an excellent lead single) 2. Can We Call A Truce (could have been a nice December ballad with a snow filled video) 3. Hanging On A Star (could have been good for February/March) 4. No Can Do (May/June release?)
October 21, 200816 yr The really need to rethink their strategy now. I really don't think No Can Do would sell the album. And EHB would.
October 22, 200816 yr What I like: 1)Girls 2)Hangin' On A Star/No Can Do (double single) 3)Every Heart Broken 4)You On A Good Day or Sunday Rain What the label will release: 1)Girls 2)No Can Do 3)Every Heart Broken 4)Hangin' On A Star or You On A Good Day I don't like Unbreakable Heart or Beware. Beware reminds me of the lameness of Denial---it would tank just like Denial did!! Edited November 1, 200816 yr by jazzmony
October 22, 200816 yr For me it would be... 1. Nothing's As Good As You 2. Every Heart Broken 3. You On A Good Day 4. Can We Call A Truce
October 22, 200816 yr This album's pretty screwed in terms of singles I think, the only two I deem single worthy are 'Every Heart Broken' and 'Swinging On A Star'. Releasing 'Girls' was probably the biggest mistake of their career really. It's one of those albums where most of the tracks are at least good, but very few of them would actually work as singles.
October 22, 200816 yr Don't be so stupid, it's a Top 3 hit inside their Top 10 selling singles. And the song is called 'Hanging On A Star'. Hanging.
October 22, 200816 yr I think Girls probably was the best choice as the first single, im not sure what else they would have chose first.

The fact it went top 3 doesn't mean much when it's dropping as though it has a brick tied to it and has killed the album's initial sales/position. It's like when Natasha lead N.B. with 'Babies'.
October 22, 200816 yr I think Girls probably was the best choice as the first single, im not sure what else they would have chose first. But watch how it falls. When they had LOADS of promotion for it, "Girls" peaked at only 3 when usually Sugas get #1 with the first single. Then when promotion was ended, the single started to fall like a stone. It's not a McFly-ish fall, but too fast for them. It IS index that this song is not good. Also I can't see "Girls" anywhere in Europe so far when other their singles were Europe-wide hits. October 22, 200816 yr Lol. Maybe if you downloaded the album instead of listening in low quality on youtube you could make an informed decision on what might've been better, and then come back to us? :)
October 22, 200816 yr Lol. Maybe if you downloaded the album instead of listening in low quality on youtube you could make an informed decision on what might've been better, and then come back to us? :) There's really no need to keep patronising me on here. :arrr: I even said the album itself is good, is that not enough?
October 22, 200816 yr Then why not download it? Gosh, so stubborn! How can anyone make a realistic sodding judgement from youtube alone?!
October 24, 200816 yr My ideal: 1. Girls 2. Every Heart Broken 3. Hanging On A Star 4. Unbreakable Heart What the label will do: 1. Girls 2. No Can Do 3. Every Heart Broken 4. Hanging On A Star ^_^ What I like: 1)Girls 2)Hangin' On A Star/No Can Do (double single) 3)Every Heart Broken 4)Nothin's As Good As You or Sunday Rain What the label will release: 1)Girls 2)No Can Do 3)Every Heart Broken 4)Hangin' On A Star or Sunday Rain I don't like Unbreakable Heart or Beware. Beware reminds me of the lameness of Denial---it would tank just like Denial did!! Sorry guys but i like your label release shed! Having thought over it the last few days on a few full listen throughs i think this order makes the most commercial sense, though i wonder if we'll get a 4th as they don't have a great record here (HOAS prob better choice, but SR is the most viable alternative IMHO) and i like Denial! I still listen to it- excellent pop song that deserved a far better position! This album's pretty screwed in terms of singles I think, the only two I deem single worthy are 'Every Heart Broken' and 'Swinging On A Star'. Releasing 'Girls' was probably the biggest mistake of their career really. It's one of those albums where most of the tracks are at least good, but very few of them would actually work as singles. Spot on silver, its really good quality album but it's harder to imagine any of the songs igniting the public as singles in the same way as some of their previous era hits Then why not download it? Gosh, so stubborn! How can anyone make a realistic sodding judgement from youtube alone?! you tube is great for getting a feel for things but you're right Jark, to make a properly informed decision. I'm amazed at the amount of songs i've not liked on repeated you tube listens but as soon as i hear CD quality i'm amazed at how all the extra detail and instrumentation can change my mind (you'd think the tune would be the overall decider but there you go!)
