Posted October 26, 200816 yr 808s & Heartbreak 1. “Welcome to Heartbreak” 2. “Heartless” 3. “Love Lockdown” 4. “Robocop” 5. “Anyway” 6. “Streetlights” 7. “Say You Will” 8. “Bad News” 9. “Amazing” featuring Young Jeezy 10. “Tell Everybody That You Know” featuring Lil Wayne 11. “Coldest Winter” Soon to leak i'm sure. I'm kind of sceptical about this album, as from the 4 tracks i've heard thus far, they're all very experimental and a long way away from Kanye's usual sound. I think because of how personal the album is to his life, he's allowed this album to become an experiment. The voice effects he's used for the album have worked so well for T-Pain and Lil' Wayne, that I think he wants in to see how his sound fits. I'm sure more and more rappers will experiment with this sound in the near future as it does seem to be a formula that works. Anywayy, Robocop is absolutely immense. My favourite track from this era thus far, has made me quite excited to hear the rest of the album...
October 26, 200816 yr I'm a big fan of Kanye, but his new music just does nothing for me at all. "Love Lockdown" is terrible.
October 28, 200816 yr Author ^^ Is that it? Not bad, but a bit too similar to the Love Lockdown cover :( I want the bear back. :( Although that can be interpreted as an immuendo, but bleh. The first 3 covers make a nice little set at least.
October 29, 200816 yr I want the bear back. :( Although that can be interpreted as an immuendo, but bleh. The first 3 covers make a nice little set at least. :kink: I read somewhere that the bear is meant to be visible in the balloon somewhere. I can't see it myself though It's a bit random for him to just completely get rid of it though
November 17, 200816 yr Author I wish this album should hurry up and leak properly, instead of some $h!tty web/radio rips. :( It does srsly sound immense though. Some of the lyrics are so deep too.
November 25, 200816 yr Absolutely love this album. After the slightly disappointing Graduation, I wasn't sure what to expect...and then he comes back with this gem  RoboCop, Welcome to Heartbreak, See You in my Nightmare and Coldest Winter are my early favourites. The artwork/ packaging is ace too
November 25, 200816 yr I love this album! This new direction is much more cuppa tea than Graduation tbh. Heartless is amazing
November 26, 200816 yr Author Wasn't so sure about the album when I first heard it, but I really like it now. His new direction is quite perplexing, but it's different. The album is really deep too, you can see how much the events of the past year have really effected him, and it pays off lyrically. Heartless is the only track in which he raps, but it's nowhere near my favourite on the album! I like most songs tbh. Robocop, Welcome to the Heartbreak and Paranoid would probably be my favourites though. And Streetlights too, if i'm outside and it's dark. @D
March 3, 200916 yr Kanye West was just on VH1 Storytellers. It was absolutely PHENOMENAL. http://www.vh1.com/video/play.jhtml?id=1606020 VH1 is a bit shoddy, here's one on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ureaUQk4Bs4 HD and everytihng. Oshttt.
April 3, 200916 yr Gosh, I've just realised how excellent this album really is. I've been randomly into him lately and some of the tracks on this album are amazing, especially 'Welcome to Heartbreak' et 'Paranoid'. His older stuff is really good also, although I think this is my favourite album of his now.
