Leona Hits Ashton

Leona Lewis arrived in Ashton this evening for a gig at the Ashworth Hall within the Ashton International Concert Centre, Morpeth Cove.

The sold out gig started with Leona's entry to BJSCXII, which was received well. Ashtonise national treasures and three time representatives the Sugababes were next on the bill promoting their thrid Ashtonise single, No Can Do (Preceded by Every Heart Broken and Sunday Rain). They recieved the best reaction of the night after their stunning performance which had the 50,000 strong Ashtonise crowd singing every word. Kt Tunstall and No Doubt appeared next to a warmed up crowd, both were well received by the crowd.

Leona re-appeared on stage and appeared to start singing her only charting single, Better In Time, before breaking into Bleeding Love. A song which was formerly banned from being played on Radio and TV within Ashton after record numbers complained to the AMR (Ashtonise Media Regulator) about bleeding ears caused by the songs Ashtonise Premier. 1 minute and 45 seconds into the world wide hit Leona was forced to abandon her attempt at singing the song after rotting tomato's were thrown at the stage by anyone who could throw far enough. Many of the crowd moved forwards from their seats to get a better shot.

No Arrests were made to Leona's disgrace.

Ashtonise Central Policing applauded the crowds decision not to throw stones onto the stage. The spokesman was quoted as saying "It would have been a shame to ruin the historic venue with damage from the stones". The Ashworth Hall has been closed to redecorate the area surrounding the stage where the crowd missed with their tomato's.

Leona Lewis was informed by Ashtonise authorities that next time she visits the country she is not to preform Bleeding Love. She was warned that she would face a permanent ban is she chose to ignore the warning.

Leona to sue the Ashton Times

A publicist for Leona Lewis has said this morning that she plans to sue the Ashton Times for libelous and false reporting. At no stage did she attempt to sing Bleeding Love at her concert in Ashton Hall in Morpeth Cove last night. She was well aware of the ban on the song in the Quilvorian country and has always respected the wishes of the people of the country wherever she has played. The reported "riot" did not take place.

There have been "issues" between Leona and the Ashton Times for the last two years. Some have suggested that this may or may not to be related to her turning down the advances of the editor of the newspaper, Slimey O'Greaseball, at a media event in 2007.

The King of Shadow is currently trying to think of an entirely unique way of promoting Belinda and her song 'At The End of the Day'... while he's thinking why not have a listen to this great track :P

But how many of them were "fixed"? :o

I've updated my country's national thread, pop on over and have a look if you want :P

Serebro will be touring soon. But there will be a twist. The dates and countries being visited will be totally random. :teresa: Will you get the chance to see Serebro performing their contest entry "Dyshi"? We hope to see you there... whoever you are... ;)

To put it lightly...yes :kink: I wouldn't normally care about sending former acts - I don't particularly mind Espen sending Serebro seeing as they don't feature in my plans until I hear their new single anyway  It's just I was planning to send Little Boots again once she won Sound of 2009 (which is so obv gonna happen ), so this is standing on my toes in stiletto heels a little bit yes :heehee:

Just remember I crushed Frahliso in the war over Serebro and am willing to dispatch the Kopecek navy if need be :kink:
