It was Aaron-motivated, like Saint Etienne and Janelle. I should really stop listening to Quotosibb, they always get me to send the entries I love most (NASA aside...) but do worst :(

Was I responsible for Saint Etienne too?! :o Who cares about results? "Gifted", "Many Moons" and "Method Of Modern Love" are your best entries. (in that order) I've only given you points on four occasions, the other one was for Ashlee, despite Rachel Stevens being better...

That'd be all of them. :lol: I like to think my BJSC XV entry was a little less motivated by others, but I did a little MSN poll with like 3 people before sending it. :lol: That said, I don't think I listened to any of them. One suggested Solange, another Janelle and the other said Solange/Video Villain.

 

I feel a flop for myself coming on.

 

Indeed...often if Aaron hates it it does well (Camille, La Roux...), so I worry a tad for Erik as he seems to like it! :o

Such a shame, your most successful songs are your worst ones. :( FTR, Erik is about in the middle of your entries for me, so expect a mid-table result.

I never feel you get an accurate representation of what is the better song as you get so few people voting.

 

And even then, your not fo sho going to get points from these people because they said the song was the best. It could be that all the options were crap and that one was the best of a bad bunch.

I love 8 out of these 10 songs, Dalisska is so underrated :snif: Battle is amazing (didn't you feel like you sent it because myself and 'Tron' were raving over it - sorry about that :cry:)

There's one thing that REALLY botheres me as well.

 

It's about host's votes. The host may change their original votes after they see some country qualifies/doesn't qualify without their votes. I think it may be pretty unfair. I'm not referring to any of previous/current hosts. But still there's a likelihood of it's hapenning, isn't there?

Just a thought.

Maybe the hosts should be required to submit their votes to a moderator so they can be compared at the end to ensure no strategic changes have been made. The mod obv. won't be allowed to open the PM until he has voted, and the mod will change each time likes.

neither do i, but you can't deny that there isn't temptation to alter your vote to let a song you like through over one you don't like. say it misses qualification by one point and it was originally tied with your 12 and you demoted it to 10 after a long day of thought.

 

Surely the temptation would be there to bump it to 12 and let it through over the song you dislike?
