Posted November 6, 200816 yr The kings of british rock are set to release their second single (I'm outta time) on december 1st, in support of their platinum selling album "Dig out your soul." where does every one think this will chart? probably more radio friendly than the first one so ... <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-Joaxvb-vM&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-Joaxvb-vM&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> an epic tune by Liam Gallagher ;) *awaits the usual Oasis slating on here* I predict top3 ;) Edited November 6, 200816 yr by Jez
November 6, 200816 yr Well if they can put proper b-sides and not a remix that everyone has had for free for ages like the last single then hopefully it should be top ten, still not keen on this one inparticular though! Not sure if they'll be able to keep up their run of top tens on this album with the strength of downloads now :(
November 6, 200816 yr Would love it to go top 3, but for the reason Nicky mentioned - downloads, I think it might only just scrape top 10 :( Shame as it's an absolutely great song  I agree that it's more radio friendly than TSOTL and love the video!
November 6, 200816 yr Author it is great isn't it ;) this will give the album a big boost ;) the album has already sold over 311,000copies sofar :)
November 6, 200816 yr it is great isn't it ;) this will give the album a big boost ;) the album has already sold over 311,000copies sofar :) I think that albums are more important for Oasis nowadays anyway to be honest. Obviously a hit single would be great, but if it gives the album a boost, it will have been worth releasing. And as you've said, it's already sold 311, 000 in what, a month? That's pretty good going - it's in the top 20 albums of the year already :)

But all in all this is a great effort by Liam...it is already going down as a storm live too :)
November 6, 200816 yr Author i would like to hear the views of non oasis fans ? what do you lot think of this ? Edited November 6, 200816 yr by Jez
November 6, 200816 yr It's no secret I hate them, their last single and the likes of 'Lyla' were unforgivable, but I guess this is bearable. I'll say it'll get to #6 on fanbase sales mainly, downloads will hold them back a bit now.

November 6, 200816 yr At least it's better than the other thing! But Low Top 10 is what I see this doing. Still a boring song and does absoloutely nothing for me i'm afraid. -_-
November 6, 200816 yr I think this is really really good! I saw it on music TV tonight and thought "who's this it's actually quite good, not the usual pretend Indie tosh", then i saw Liam and thought wow! Great to hear them do something softer and ballady. Very unexpected for the title. Been mulling over buying their new album (haven't bought a studio one since Be Here Now though i loved the importance of being Idle so got STC about a year ago (for £2.75 would you believe!)), will def get around to it now, or put it on the Xmas list... Oh and on the subject of chart placing, hopefully will do well. Top 5? Oasis can still shift tracks and it is a good song Edited November 6, 200816 yr by spicefunk

November 6, 200816 yr Author I reckon this will do a McFly tbh. McFly do they even write their own tunes? they could only dream of doing a tune like this

November 6, 200816 yr McFly do they even write their own tunes? they could only dream of doing a tune like this To be sincerly honest Mickey from McFly is a FARRRRR better songwriter than Liam Gallagher.
November 6, 200816 yr Author They do actually -_- seriously ? do they really write all their tunes ? never knew that i thought they were like Girls aloud ... people behind them handing them Cd's , for them to do the vocals. Edited November 6, 200816 yr by Jez

November 6, 200816 yr I'm not a massive Oasis fan, but I do love some of their stuff and I think this is great. Love the vocals on it.
