Sorry, you too Jester. I realised as soon as I posted that message, but then I needed a pee! :o

You prefer to pee???? :o :arrr:

Oh OK then :)

Listening to the chart show for the first time in months online as I'm really behind on new music right now.

General thoughts...

Sash! - very much like Angel City's "Do You Know"; not bad, but adding vocals to a classic dance track that really didn't need it. But then anything that kicks off a Sash! revival can't be a bad thing. I think we're overdue another Sash/Tina Cousins collaboration.

Pussycat Dolls - When I Grow Up remains a tuneless mess. But "I Hate This Part" is the best single they've released to date by some distance. Although you wouldn't necessarily know straight off it's the Dolls, it repeats the tricks of "Bleeding Love" and "Apologise", marrying melancholy but beautiful tunes to a punchy, meaty beat. It's a good combination.

MGMT - one of those songs I've heard for a while but never known who it is. And now I do, I really want the album, especially with Time To Pretend aswell.

Kings of Leon - OMG Fearne got something right, Use Somebody is GREAT. I'd love it to be another #1 for them.

Scouting For Girls - easily the WORST thing to come out in the past two years. Every track the same lazy re-hash of the last. Which sheep buy their records?

Adele - her last few tracks have shown MUCH more potential than the over-rated Chasing Pavements ever did.

Chris Brown/Keri Hilson - beats the pants off Chris Brown/Jordin Sparks

Will Young - I don't know why but I hear this and just think of Lucie Silvas' "The Game Is Won".

Bellamy Brothers - LOVE it, this is what's so great about the charts now. Forgotten gems that anyone under the age of 30 would never know can be brought back to the forefront in an instance.

Miley Cyrus - seeing all the ravings on Buzzjack I was expecting so much more. I should have known better, it is bloody Hannah Montana after all.

Fearne & Reggie As annoying as ever. Why did they have to play BOTH Pussycat Dolls tracks, and then missing out several songs that are INFINITELY better than When I Grow Up? Why do they waste so much time going on about baths and the latest idiotic text from Stacey in Bracknell when they could easily fit in another couple of songs instead? And I just didn't get the Rihannanecdotes. Yes, Rihanna maybe drags her stories out a bit but surely that's largely down to the language barrier? Other than I didn't see anything hilarious funny, maybe someone should enlighten me with a sense of humour?

Well, in my opinion musically that's one of the blandest Top 10s ever. Only Pink at number 10, and possibly Leona Lewis make me feel interested.

Most of the rest of them sound like they've been recorded in one or two takes, and then the producer has thought "yes, that will do, can't be bothered to spend any more time on this"
