November 9, 200817 yr It's really confusing though - why is it listed as a new entry this week if it was supposedly number 50 last week? Its so annoying that UK does not have a reliable reporting service for music... Music Week doesn't update their main charts until the next day, while the charts are published on free sites like Yahoo by 8pm on Sunday. And people pay MW to get this info  Edited November 9, 200817 yr by AshleyUK
November 10, 200817 yr You know, that chart is one of the best we've had in a long while. Although I'm one of the few who doesn't usually mind long runners in the charts and less new entries, I'll make an exception this week as the tracks leaving the chart are for the most part rubbish (Platinum, Leon, Basshunter). Most artists who I usually dislike are coming up with the goods (Pussycat Dolls' new one, Girls Aloud, Kanye West, Razorlight, Adele). The Bellamy Brothers re-entering displays the benefits of the download era, Katy Perry's new one is INFINITELY better than the over-rated I Kissed A Girl, and Beyonce's continuing on a surprisingly good singles run (Deja Vu being the last dud; Green Light was saved by the ever-wonderful Freemasons remix). I don't even mind the #1 as much as I should do considering it's "Hero". It's sung reasonably well (apart from Rachel's part which is quite jarring), and it's nice to see the Brits finally getting patriotic about something much as I'm no fan of the war. Also nice to see Sash holding up well in the albums, Chicane managing a month which is more than I expected, and Anastacia and Sugababes dropping like bombs (I love both the previous acts, amongst my all-time favourites probably, but their comebacks have both been PATHETIC and they need to learn). Oh, and I hope Alesha uses her newfound popularity to re-release the wonderful Knockdown. Edited November 10, 200817 yr by Shoat

November 11, 200817 yr I blame it on alcohol. I don't blame you for not know, I only remembered two of his songs. But once I gave some of the others a listen I remembered them, he's had a lot of hits they just weren't that memorable.
