I really like it too. Didn't the first couple times I listened but now I love it.

I'm not sure about the other three ... but I can assure you Gary Barlow was definitely NOT down to his last couple of million. He had is reasons for agreeing to it ... but money was not that reason!

I really like it now ... but I honestly only half-heartedly liked it on first listen. I can imagiine where it is going to fit in on the tour though ... its going to be the opening number and its perfect for that - its a prelude to something else. As a song though (although I love the tune and I can't get it out of my head) there isn't a chorus!!!!! Of all the songs since they've been around this time Patience and Reach Out are my favourites ... I like both of those more than RTW even. Shine - I could take or leave!

Got to hold my hands up - wasn't impressed at all at first but it's definitely sneaked up from nowhere and grown on me. It's no Rule The World but it's still a good classical pop song, of the sort Gary Barlow is very adept at writing.

For me also Rule the World and Shine are better. Shine made me a TT fan... As I first time heard Shine, I haven't idea that is a TT song, I didn't even know that TT are back :rolleyes: .

 

Greatest Day is a grower. I have no problem that ain't no chorus, more with the lyrics. But when i heard it at MTV awards, i started really to like it: this song is perfect for live feeling and live sing-a-long ! You must hear it at full power to hear how great it is!

 

I give them top 10 , I don't think they will take No. 1.

 

I am curious how the album will do in charts, as it is not what the mainstream listener would expect from TT. But from the tiny bits I heard is more experimental, great orchestration, good mixture between slow and up-tempo, a nice retro feeling. It has everything I wanted :wub: !

 

Beyonce is actually creeping up on The Killers :o But I don't know whether it's the Killers losing ground, or whether Beyonce is just gaining more downloads :unsure: Wouldn't surprise me as I am actually getting bored of IIWAB coz it's ALWAYS on the Music channels :rolleyes:

I don't like the new Take That song much, it goes nowhere and seems to have no chorus. Cheap and nasty video too.
