Well the Killers got about 40k downloads last week i think. Assuming they're selling the same this week, and that TT are 3 times ahead, and its the same throughout all d/l sites. 3 times 40 is 120,000 copies for TT :o Don't think it'll manage though.

Well TT has also a deluxe kind of album with a book, but i don't think that fans will buy both. They are too pricey...We have in Germany also two kinds of single format...

 

I'm getting the special edition you're talking about - the one with the book - I've got it pre-ordered on Amazon. But you're right ... I won't buy both. Well I suppose I may at some point in the future buy a second one so I've got one in the house and one in the car (as I get fed up of taking CD's in and out of the house). We'll see!

Well Rule The World only (only she says :lol: ) 98,000 in its first week ... and I think we're all agreed that Greatest Day isn't as good as Rule The World so I can't see it reaching the 100K that some folk here have been saying it will shift. I'm just glad it'll do enough to get to number 1.

But that 120,000 would be if it was 3 time sahead for the whole week :lol: by Friday/Saturday I think they will only be about half as much :lol: But that's still massive though :o

OMG! :blink: Have you ever heard about 'burning CDs'? It's easy, quick and waaaay cheaper than buying multiple copies of the same album just for the sake of having 1 copy at home and 1 in the car... So you can save your money to buy more albums and music in general... -_-

tbh if I buy a new album I would never put it into the car's CD-players. It scratches and destroys the CD. I rather do a copy of the original and play it in the car.

 

As for some players don't play not original CDs, I always check the player if it does before I buy it :)
