ANTI in the UK at least I think was ahead of its time slightly but it’s rare that female albums what are the genre of ANTI sell in large amounts. Platinum is still great though there’s not many females who’ve had 7 platinum albums in a row! Especially females who debuted in the 2000s decade too!

GGGB is a better streamer than Loud isn’t it? I wouldn’t mind if one day it did overtake Loud as it does feel like peak Rihanna and it was her longest era too as it’s the only one to get a re release.

So I've done some pointless number crunching (I have actual work to do ffs) and I've estimated that ANTI had sold 78,000 pure sales by September 2016. At most I assume that would've grown to 90,000?

ANTI really had some hits! 4 hits at least Gold! Those peaks don’t match the impact.

I always wish Kiss It Better managed to sneak into the top 40 I really felt like it was going too :(

On the 13/12/19, Kiss It Better had sold 377,600 (ty Lucas ) so that's an increase of 22.4k in 25 weeks, approx 896 copies per week. Everything could change between now and then lmao but it should be plat by 2025. On worldwide Spotify, Needed Me gets about 3.7x KIB's daily streams (last time I counted Needed Me went up 274k in a day and KIB 74k, see the iTunes & Spotify thread x), if that translates to sales over here then Needed Me is shifting c. 3.3k a week. I know Needed Me was biggest in America by far but if it's doing even half of that then it should easily be over 800k. Love On The Brain on that same day got 4.7x KIB's streams so again if it's doing even half of it it should be platinum by the end of next year. I could be totally wrong :gaga:

New certifications (July 17th):

Te Amo - Gold [400k]

Believe It - Silver [200k]

Believe It was expected but yay

I just realised that Hate That I Love You was certified Gold before Shut Up and Drive? What?

Happy for Te Amo. That’s 3 gold tracks here now from the Rated R era.

She’s really smashing it that’s now 37 gold tracks she has now in the UK. That’s some seriously impressive stats right there!

Out of curiosity how has streaming affected Te Amo. Is most of those sales paid for?

"Loud" now has 7 certified songs in the UK! And the album only has 11 tracks. Amazing
Impressive *.* I can't believe a Rihanna and Nicki collab is one of three songs on an album not be certified :') Idec that Nicki is problematic af, I need a Round Two between them to correct...that first collab.

Round 3! Let’s not forget Fly

"Loud" has now gone 7x Platinum (2,100,000)! :cheer:

She now has 7 million certified album units in the UK.

  Most of those will be purchased ALBUMS as well. Pure sales legend!

Unfortunately no :( I only get to find out Good Girl Gone Bad and Loud because they're regularly in the Top 200! Streaming queen *.*

19/06/20:

2,089,078 - Loud

2,059,773 - Good Girl Gone Bad

So 780-ish sales a week for Loud! GGGB should be on about 2,072,000 by now, going 7x Plat next Spring.

Edited by Andrew.

What a huge smash!!

And an album to do it without a re-release too when a lot of big eras around that time ended up getting re releases the following Q4.
