IOt's going to be close between The Killers and GnR next week... especially after GnR have apparently broke a myspace record with their album :o (Most listens in a day or something ) But I bet most of them were people just re-listening to it over and over again  But it's gonna be close!
Killers for number 1!!!.....next week hahahahha

Rhydian may put in a challenge too! Assume you mean albums?

I´m shocked too, cause each of her first 2 albums have sold $h!tloads there, it´s like she achieved iconic sucess there. I thought fanbase alone would be enough to lead her Top 5 or even #1. It took too much incompetence to make her achieve such low chart positions everywhere.

But after all, Ireland seems to have one of the most cruel charts for flopping artists... Anastacia´s new album failed to make Top 40 there, while her previous studio album had been massive. They seem to go from love to hate with artists, while in other countries the decrease in popularity seem to be a bit more gradual.

Yes. Amy Winehouse

Not sure if Rihanna did or she didn't can't remember

Rihanna only climbed as high as #2 since Reloaded's release, though sold about 48k the week it was there i believe (enough for #1 some weeks)

Yeah, it'll certainly be close. It's my favourite song from the top 3, but I think it's the one I least thought would be at the top this week. The Killers seem to have shifted the most downloads, X Factor is presumably still #1 on physicals it's just that both tracks aren't performing too well on the other formats so Beyoncé is 'stealing' the #1 because she's probably #2 on downloads and physicals.

Yeah, it is weird when she's no1 nowhere. Think you hit the nail on the head though- it's consistency of sales across formats in B's case

I agree with that. Plus it'll be another 'ego massage' for Beyonce if she makes it... :puke2:

Totally XF has already been no1 so another week won't make it any worse. B does not deserve no1, not when she hasn't released a decent song in nearly 5 years

Here's to hoping Britney will rose to #8 over the weekend!
